Can we purchase T4 in UK without a prescription?

Could somebody PM me please regarding the above. I have developed a few issues over the past 2 months since changing to Bitiron and think I would probably do better to take thyroxine separate with a small amount of liothyronine.

I swopped from Thyroid S to Bitiron in October because it just didn't suit me and cannot afford Armour or any of the other well known NDT which I haven't had problems with previously.

I have felt better in myself on Bitiron but as time has gone on I have developed from high blood pressure, nasty sweating, dizziness and raised pulse. FYI Bitiron contains 50 mcg thyroxine and 12.5 lithothyronine. My GP will only give me 25 mcg thyroxine!

Probably the reason I have issues ever finding a sweet spot is because I have adrenal insufficiency and have to take 6 1/2 mg Prednisolone daily but I am sure it isn't the same as having one's body produce it naturally. Latest blood test in November showed slightly low ferritin at 65 but towards top of range of serum iron. B12 is excellent, vitamin D is 73 but since the blood test I take 1000 mcg several times a week and folate is also very good.

I did a blood test yesterday to see if anything is showing up regarding T4 level which was always low when on NDT and also T3 which was never very high because I could never tolerate more than one grain or at the most 1 1/2 grain before getting the sweating, high bp and pulse etc.
