Liothyronine

Does anyone know where I can source a reliable and effective T3 meds ? I'm in the UK ....

Hi Meds - Levo 100mcg daily + 5mcg twice daily and felt OK on this, I have been reduced slightly to Levothyroxine 75mcg Mon-Wed-Fri, and Levo 100mcgs the other 4 days plus the Liothyronine 5mcg twice daily but not feeling so good now.

The board concluded that it was not appropriate to change the status of liothyronine and that the addition of liothyronine to levothyroxine should remain under the care of a consultant NHS endocrinologist.

Has anyone managed to obtain this from an endocrinologist in Wales please ?

Hi everyone has anyone else has issues with Strides. I was just prescribed it and pretty sure it was causing some horrible symptoms and brain fog. Low mood. I took my normal Morningside yesterday and today and feel so much better!!

I don't think anyone disputes that any dosing with liothyronine causes relative T3 peaks in the blood. But that simple fact appears to be taken as proof that including liothyronine in any form or regime is necessarily inferior to levothyroxine monotherapy.

But the document DOES says: liothyronine: • follow NHS England prescribing advice on liothyronine when initiating or reviewing the prescribing of liothyronine • the recommendations do not apply to patients who have already been reviewed by an NHS consultant endocrinologist • all other patients currently

What I don't know is how much Liothyronine I should have as a starting dose or how to titrate it? It could even be that I mostly need Liothyronine because I didn't seem able to convert the T4 to T3 on Levo. I've even heard of some people only using Liothyronine?

One who supports the prescribing of liothyronine? Alternatively, is there anyone to be avoided? Thank you, Anonimouse

I would be grateful for any current information on the best, most reliable suppliers for obtaining liothyronine as easily as possible and with a simple payment method. Thanks.

I have previously bought Liothyronine from an international supplier but having recently restarted taking it after about a year I'd like to enquire who the best supplier (off prescription) is please? This supplier is charging £110 for 90 of 25mcg, or £94 for 90 of 5mcg.

Hi, I have been taking 5mcg of Morningside Liothyronine twice a day with no side effects but my last prescription turned up as Roma capsules and are making me feel super dizzy and nauseous.

But I want ALL real liothyronine medicines. I'll add a reply with an image of what I've got so far.

But I’ve had a call today from my doctors to book a liothyronine review for Thursday morning. And now I’m panicking because before my endocrinologist added that to my levothyroxine 11 years ago I felt really ill both physically and mentally and had no quality of life.

Hello allI saw a post this morning mentioning slow release Liothyronine. I have lost it completely. I did get the place in Germany to buy it from but not the poster! Anyone else spotted it and can let me know? Many thanks Jane

Hi can anyone DM me (or post here if allowed) the names of anyNHS endos based in London - ideally central or South East but will take anything that are sympathetic to prescribing T3/liothyronine?

My skin and bladder are much better on the Liothyronine. Just feel this week that my symptoms have got a little worse. My private endo did reduce my levo from 125mcg to 100mcg when I started the Liothyronine so my GP didn’t have a panic as my TSH is very low.
