Hi there! Would any of you be willing to help me interpret these results? I have been on a strict gluten free, dairy free, sugar free, soy free and low iodine diet for a couple of months and have felt A TON better. These results bear this out. I'm on 100 mcg of Levothyroxine and 5 mcg of Cytomel. The only values that seem at all close to out of range seems to Free T3. According to Isabella Wentz (the Thyroid Pharmacist) I think it should ideally be between 5 and 7 pmol. My symptoms bear this out as I feel great in the morning and then symptoms start to sneak back in towards the afternoon. I have a few appointments with some private NDT's and an endo as the NHS is not allowed to prescribe T3. I'm from Canada and have been on this dose for 25 years. I wonder if I'd feel better if I found someone willing to prescribe another dose of 5 mcg midday and perhaps afternoon for a total of 15 mcg split into 3 doses. I'm new to all this so may be way off base. Is a private endo or NDT likely to prescribe T3 based on these results?

Your FT3 of 3.2 (3.1-6.8) is certainly very low but you can only use Isabella Wentz's suggestion if she is referring to the same reference range as that which came with your test. Obviously she is using a different range because a level of 7 would be over range with the test you've done. You can only use the range that comes with your own test, you can't mix and match a result from one lab's test with a range from another lab.
With your range a level between 5.7-6.1 would give a percentage between 70-81% which is possibly a good place to aim for.
