Which brands are better...tiromel is one listed & cytomel I think was the other one. Any help much appreciated

Hi- I am wondering if someone can PM a source to get NDT and cytomel without prescription? I place I usually order from has changed their purchasing format, and I need to find another vendor. Thanks!

I was taking (5:00am 50mg Levo, 10mcg Cytomel) with (10mcg Cytomel at noon). Now she wants to change to (5:00am 88mg Levo, 5mcg Cytomel) (10mcg at noon). I asked her why she would lower the cytomel she said increasing Levo would naturally increase the t4 o t3 conversion.

Lowering the Cytomel somewhat helped with the jittery feeling, but I am still trembling. Pulse still high-ish but better, less skipped heart beats. My blood work showes a sligltly highter FT3 level then the previous time on LESS Cytomel , how is this possible? BP is all over the place.

After taking levo and cytomel for a few years and testing regularly I seem to feel better when t4 is lower. For example.. 14 (12-22) feels better, calmer. Is that ok ? I have no clue.

I take 75mcg levothyroxine and 2.5mcg cytomel. Yesterday was my first day without it and I was awake all night. Today i feel a lot of tension around my heart, diarhea and very dry face. I don’t know what to do. Does it get better?

I recently posted, hoping to expand my options for purchasing T3 online, but I have yet to get a PM …and things are looking pretty dire over here, lol, as I’m already using my backup T3 and am increasingly worried about running out altogether

I take levo and cytomel, numbers are good. I split my cytomel in 2 and take it after breakfast and in the afternoon. I have noticed that a little bit after I take a dose of Cytomel I start to feel very emotional and often start crying. After the crying I feel better, but this is so strange.

I notice BNF list American Cytomel 25mcg. Is anyone managing to find a pharmacy which can source this for NHS? No names needed, just checking whether it would be a realistic swap. Thanks in advance.

I have Hashimoto's Disease

I have already tried: accord, teva, wokhardt, accord liquid and Cytomel and thybon Henning for t3….and very sadly they are all the same. Interestingly endo said my estrogen is quite poor/low for someone of my age so she has suggested we trial HRT to see if this helps.

Later, pediatric endocrinologists had her try various other ways of getting thyroid, like Tirosint + Cytomel, etc. but she always came back to Armour and felt better on it (if not great, at least better than other options).

They called me a few weeks ago & suggested I lower my dose of T3 , I take 75mcg of cytomel. I was advised to take 50mcg. I asked the reason why. He said it was because t3 has long term effects of osteoporosis. I feel like 75mcg is the perfect dose for me. What shall I do ?

She says she thinks that 50 mcg of Levo is all I need but added 5 mcg Cytomel. I explained my continued symptoms and she said definitely no more Levo. She will order labs and I go back in 2 months. I asked about ferritin but not sure what she is ordering. She sends the lab orders to the lab.

I take 100 mcg of Synthroid and 25 mcg of cytomel. 2 days ago I changed my cytomel to 17 mcg. (the pill is a 25 mcg). How long should I stay at this level before I reduce the cytomel to 12.5 mcg? I do not have any symptoms of overactive thyroid at all.
