blood test results help

Good Morning,

I have new thyroid results, very different from my last post I think, bit confused now.

I did a medicheck blood test, Tuesday 9am, didn't take any vitamins or thyroxin (175mg) for a good couple of days before.

Vit D, B12, Folate and Ferritin are very similar to previous result. I have purchased Thorne B and also nature provides b12 so will start taking this to up my levels. Vit D I already take, didn't know whether to change it and take the one with added MK7 is it? Then also try Magnesium at bedtime?

I have been off work for a good few weeks as my knee has been swollen and very painful, bit worrying as I work in a warehouse. In between though ended up with some kind of sinusitis and just feel drained, aching all over and my ears will not unblock, have some antibiotics yesterday.

Im also under rhumatology for joint pain but as my knee is having issues, rhumatology are questioning if I have inflammatory arthritis as the biological medication obviously isnt working, I have not taken this medication for 6 weeks now as it lowers your immune system even more if your ill, and rhumatology suggested I had fibro, which the biologic isn't going to help.

Waiting for an MRI on my knee, which is next week. Previous MRIs on my ankles and feet show inflamation, but no blood tests show inflamation.

Oh and my hair, oh my hair, dermal Fibrosis and still falling out.

This all must be thyroid related, do you think.

Im so tired 😴

Sorry a bit long winded,

If you get through reading this, thank you🥰

Why no Levo for "a good couple of days before"? You take last dose of Levo 24 hours before test. What you have done has given you a false low FT4 level, so we have no idea what your FT4 actually is I'm afraid.

Vit D I already take, didn't know whether to change it and take the one with added MK7 is it? Then also try Magnesium at bedtime?

Whether you take a combined D3/K2-MK7 supplement or take them separately doesn't matter, you need the Vit K2-MK7 as D3 aids absorption of calcium from food and K2-MK7 directs calcium to bones and teeth where it's needed and away from soft tissues and arteries where it can be deposited and cause problems.

Magnesium is needed to help the body convert D3 into it's usable form. Best taken evening/bedtime as it is calming.

Looking at your TSH and FT3 levels these show that you are undermedicated. The aim of a treated hypo patient on Levo on, generally, is for TSH to be 1 or below with FT4 and FT3 in the upper part of their reference ranges, if that is where you feel well.

Your raised antibodies confirm Hashimoto's.

These results are radically different to the results you posted only 6 days ago. What happened?

As has been said, stopping taking Levo for too long will make these results inaccurate but do indicate you are hypo.

No need for that, hang in there. Maybe just repeat the thyroid results?
