Do I need added T3

Hi

I took it upon myself in February to obtain bloods for food intolerances as my gut issues were worsening. I am already gluten free. I was becoming so confused with the many different Symptoms, apart from the obvious crippling stomach pain and trips to the toilet. I have a long list of intolerances, but the main one is dairy, red meat, soya and a few different nuts, plus a list of others. I have lost my appetite and I crave some of the intolerant foods I used to eat. Everything has become such an effort. The more demand I put on my body the slower and more exhausted I become. I have been taking Levothyroxine 112.5mgs daily on an empty stomach. Not always the same brand, got tired of asking for same brand, and let it slip. This time they have sent another brand all together. I have also tried several times to go up to 125mgs but by day three I start to feel worse with more frequent massive hot/ cold sweats during the day and throughout the night. The results show my Ft4 to be 91% through range and Ft3 52% and the TSH is suppressed at 0.01 this has been like this since last year. The blood results that were highlighted were CRP ,Ferritin, Magnesium, and Folate. I was interested in my Cortisol as a previous saliva test had showed up low. But im not sure how you interpret this result properly. Im guessing it is okay or they would have highlighted it. Where do I go from here, Is it still possible I need to add a small amount of T3 ? My visit to G.P. in December, I was unable to persuade her to Add T3. So I will have to source it for myself.

I had a total Thyroidectomy in 2011, Sent to an endo in 2017, due to frequent lengthy times off work for debilitating symptoms. He told me I didnt have a Endocrinology problem and it was passed off as a menopausal problem. Sent to a specialist nurse who did nothing but give me leaflets to read. It is only since finding this forum that I have learned such a lot and have tried to be a bit more proactive in managing this condition. I am currently doubting myself as my symptoms are very confusing, I have both Hyper and some Hypo, Would it be better to source some NDT? Not sure what the best way to go . Going by my last test some of my vits are on low side but have restarted B-Complex and Vit d by spray. I know they have to improve before starting anything new. I wrote a post few weeks ago but got no replies so had to speak to a G.P. He advised me to reduce my Levothyroxine to 100mcgs, and because i was feeling a bit wired and toxic I duly followed his instruction. that was 3 weeks ago, dont feel as wired now, but no change to any other symptoms. sweating buckets overnight, dry mouth in morning, and joint and muscle stiffness are my main concerns. I recently have done a female hormone test with medichecks, the report says all fine. But Oestradiol is < 44 - range is 0 up to 183pmol/L. even though I am post menopause should it not be more than this figure? Thank you in advance for any help and sorry for this long post . Hope someone out there can help me this time.

I'm sorry your post hasn't been answered. This post has now moved so far down it is off the main page. I suggest you make a new post - perhaps copy and paste the information in your opening post here into a brand new post then that new post will be at the top of the page and hopefully you will get some replies.
