THE ENDO HAD MY DAUGHTER ON 75Mg OF ELTROXYIN ONE DAY AND THEN 50MG THE NEXT DAY - I SPLIT THE DOSE TO GIVE HER 66.5MG DAILY - WHAT DO PEOPLE THINK ABOUT THE CHANGE IN RESULTS??

I'll jump in as no one else has responded yet. Right away we see TSH is even higher now at 6.06! And though free T4 is lower, free T3 is a tiny bit higher perhaps indicating conversion is a bit better. Vit D is still very low. What are you doing to remedy this since the last posts as it was addressed then also? It seems six months ago TSH was on bit on the low side - and now it's swung high, so why her dose was reduced I really can't fathom! You may want to consider contacting thyroid U.K. for their list of thyroid friendly docs - it's available on request, as this has been a merry go round so far of dosage changes and worsening results for the most part! Are any blood tests done first thing Am after fasting (water OK) and leaving dose 24 ours prior? Doing this gives the most accurate results.

Thanks rusty64 for your comments.I have her on 10000mg of vitamin D every day and blood tests are always done first thing in the morning with no dose the night before.We are going to change her doctor because I am baffled by these results myself and I am following the protocol around the supplementing this past six months,Many thanks for your response.

She should definitely be taking a higher dose - her TSH should be somewhere around 1, not up at 9. Her Vitamin D is much better at 90 instead of 22, which is good. Her B12 is very good. Her antibody results are about the same, but they will fluctuate anyway. I don't know about the other results.
