Suspected Pituitary Disfunction, any advice please?
Suspected Pituitary Disfunction, any recommendation? Diagnosed with ME 7 years ago. Latest tests shows no immunity problems, TSH mid range, T3 T4 bottom 25 % range, low white cells count, inflammation and very low neutrophils count . I was on Nature 1 grain and felt amazing, these were recalled, tried

High erythrocyte sedimentation rate, low RBC/haemoglobin, poor renal test results
I just got another blood test result back and my ESR is too high, there's no range given for some reason but it's 20mm/hr. I have Hashimoto's and lichen sclerosus, I'm on 150 mcg levothyroxine. TSH 0.03, FT4 19.4 (74% through range), FT3 5.2 (57% through range). Also taking 2.5 mg low-dose naltrexone

Hi everyone, just want to say a massive thank you for the advice I was given recently regarding getting my ferritin levels checked. I did just that and my levels were off the scale apparently. I am now taking Ferrous Sulfate 200mg tablets which hopefully will start to kick in between 4-6 weeks. I’m

Zinc deficiency
I have thinning hair and saw GP again who sent me for blood tests and I am low in zinc. i am hoping they can prescribe something and my hair will start thickening again. This has been getting me down as I lose loads every morning when I brush my hair.

Pregnant RLS Oral treatment vs IV
Hi fellow night-walkers, My Ferritin level is 10. My Iron count is going between 112 and 118 on the last few tests. I have terrible RLS - but I did get 2 hours sleep last night... My GP has said that it would be dangerous to administer an Injectafer while I am pregnant. My obstetrician has prescribed

Sleep disturbance
I have been having disturbed sleep. I have noticed that, on the two occasions this month when I have been away, it was better. When away, I didn’t take my supplements with me on both occasions. However, I did take my T4 and T3 with me obviously, as I wouldn’t miss those. I take zinc, selenium and floradix

Help with blood results
So, the endo is happy with my T3 and T4. Mid to upper range. However I still suffer from bloating, hair loss and fairly rapid pulse (90 bpm) . I take 50mcg levo and 1 grain Thai NDT. I had my iron checked in June 19. GP told me that my levels were ‘normal’. I’ve recently had the Mirena coil removed

In Pursuit Of Restful Sleep And Help For Nocturia
One topic that seems to come up regularly on this forum is the issue of poor sleep or insomnia and it seems very common in PWP so I thought I would try another experiment to see if I could improve on my current sleep regimen and if I could, I wanted to share that information here on the forum. On that

Started taking Exjade for iron overload from transfusions
Did this for 3 reasons. I am one of a handful of around 20 people taking both drugs with rux maybe one of 10 taking it with with a trial drug as well. Why do I do it? Other patients took the gamble to try rux and imatinib and lost their gamble so I feel I owe my opportunity to them. Pure research. This

T3 / weight gain
Hi everyone I currently take T3 75mcg in one single dose. I have under active thyroid / hashimotos. My biggest symptom is weight gain. I have put quite a bit of weight on this last year which has caused me to become type 2 diabetic again. I have had some bloods taken & got the results. Please note

"All is normal", so they say in the medical profession....
Hi everyone on this site, I'd like to introduce myself and ask for your opinion. I'v had Type1 Diabetes over 40 years now and Graves diagnosis in 2006 (in remission after 18 months treatment with Carbimazole), so I was told that I must have predisposition to other autoimmune conditions and I should look

Are these spots familiar to anybody? Pics attached
Hi all, not really sure where to go with this. But I want to start by saying this is not a rash, allergic reaction of anything to do with allergies. I've asked elsewhere - until I can see my doctor - and all I got was answers about rashes and allergic reactions to bloody zinc. I'm awaiting a delivery
