I just got another blood test result back and my ESR is too high, there's no range given for some reason but it's 20mm/hr.
I have Hashimoto's and lichen sclerosus, I'm on 150 mcg levothyroxine. TSH 0.03, FT4 19.4 (74% through range), FT3 5.2 (57% through range). Also taking 2.5 mg low-dose naltrexone (since 6th July) and 420 mg ferrous fumarate per day (since February). I follow a gluten and dairy free diet. I avoid egg and soy. Vitamin D, B12 and folate all good. I supplement them plus magnesium, N-acetyl cysteine, zinc picolinate and selenomethionine.
I have had persistent hair loss since February, I find it difficult to recover from exercise, frequently experience crushing fatigue, brain fog, low mood and can't lose weight.
I have a red blood cell count at the lower limit of normal (and often is abnormally low), my ferritin is 53.1, and my haemoglobin is at the lower limit of normal.
I've noticed that some of my renal blood tests look poor. Although both within the "normal range", my eGFR is towards the low side and my serum creatinine is towards the high side. They have been progressively getting worse over the past two years. No doctor has commented on this. I noticed it last year but because I eat a lot of protein and do powerlifting I read that it might be because of that.
Can anyone advise on what any of this means? Should I be worried?
