Advice on latest blood results.
Can someone advise on my latest blood results. I have spent the last 10 years feeling as if life isn't worth living and although, going on my bloods i haven't got it right, I can see some light at the end of the tunnel. I haven't felt this good in a decade so please be kind. A brief background. After

Dosage Up - FT3 Down
OK, I am having problems understanding my most recent test results (which puts me in good company on here.) ;-) The only thing that changed with dosage is that I began taking a full 25 mcg tablet of Cytomel because I was having problems cutting them up evenly. To my surprise, although FT4 remained

No medication seems to be working to ease some of the pain
Me again. No medication seems to be working. I'm currently on 3 gabapentin, Naproxen, 2 Omeprazoles (stomach was slightly damaged in early may as I wasn't aware that you had to have a stomach lining tablet with naproxen... Dr didn't give any Omeprazole with the naproxen so was advised to take 2 of them

Ferritin, Folate, Vitamin B12 numbers - confused and not sure whether to take a B complex or iron
Apologies if this is a bit long but I am very confused by this whole subject. I am self treating with T3 for Impaired sensitivity to Thyroid Hormone [ISTH]. I began to self treat in late January of this year - it was the right way to go because if I hadn't I don't think I'd still be here now writing

Protein intake and longevity
This Review paper available on Google Scholar is not about PCa but I found it interesting. The Abstract and a couple of sections from the paper are reproduced below. The main things I take from the study are that it is ok to have a high protein diet if you are an older person (66+) but go easy on the

HELP NEEDED WITH MEDICHECKS BLOOD TEST.
Hi everyone. I posted on here a few weeks ago because I was due to have some blood tests through Medichecks. I was diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroidism 5 years ago as my TSH was 5.8. After being bumped up to 50mcg 3 months later - I lost a lot of weight (didn’t actually weigh myself but it was very

Timing a blood test.....how critical?
I’ve just read an interesting thread about dosing for T3. I didn’t want to hijack the discussion so thought I’d start again and outline what I see as a problem with getting a combo dose right. Like many on here I have continuing and irritating issues with endos who regulate against TSH primarily and

Supplements for endometriosis, detoxification and immune health
Hi ladies, I thought I’d post as I’ve been experiencing some positive change lately and wanted to share what I’ve been doing in the hope that it could bring relief to more people. I’ve read lots on supplements and alternative medicine and from reading about Ayurveda I kind of came across very good supplements
