OK, I am having problems understanding my most recent test results (which puts me in good company on here.)
The only thing that changed with dosage is that I began taking a full 25 mcg tablet of Cytomel because I was having problems cutting them up evenly. To my surprise, although FT4 remained the same, my FT3 actually went down a little. My TSH is now cited as <0.01. Before it was "0.01" without the "less than" math operator.
Back when I first began taking T3, the doctor was concerned about how low my TSH had gone and I suggested we try reducing my thyroxine dose a little, rather than stopping or reduceing T3. We did two 25-mcg reductions, going from 175 down to 125 over the course of a year.
So far, my doctor has been very nice to go along with my suggestions. I am wondering if I should suggest a slight increase in my thyroxine. I don't really want to go back to cutting up 25 mcg tablets and adding 5 mcg tablets to get to an odd number dosage of T3.
As for supplements, I take 10,000 IU of Vitamin D3 along with 100 mcg Vitamin K2-MK7, magnesium, zinc, fish oil, and Igennus Super B complex once a day. When last tested my ferritin was 170, but the iron numbers did not indicate I had high iron.
As for symptoms, I have been experiencing pain in both shoulders, although it seems to be in the joint on the left shoulder and in the muscles on the right shoulder. I'm going to try increasing my magnesium to see if that helps. Maybe I will try the topical spray, as well.
