Waiting in pain for the laparoscopy date
I was in emergency a few times due to fainting and very severe pain. I heard from them that I should not come any more to hospital, but wait at home for the letter, and in case of pains I should take painkillers because they would not help me. This is a drama. My fiance works in the afternoon and not

Laparoscopic surgery - disappointed
I had my 3rd laparoscopy on Thursday and I'm really angry and disappointed with it all! I had my last laparoscopy in 2013 and had mild Endo and ablitation of Endo in the pouch of Douglas. This year my period pain has been worse than ever so I decided to seek help. I had an MRI and was told that I had

Bleeding after endometrial biopsy
Looking for some reassurance… I had a very painful endometrial biopsy 5 days ago. The next two days I had barely any spotting but immense pain requiring opioid pain killers. The pain continued the next day with no spotting at all. Now, with pain continuing, I’m experiencing period-like bleeding 5 days

Hi everyone, I’ve completed week two, run two, which is a miracle for me as I’ve never ever been a runner. I’m very proud of myself 😊 However, I started getting knee pain after my second run and its gradually got worse. I’ve increased my rest days and I stretch after my runs but the pain has been so

Waiting for a decision on Teriparatide (Part 2)
Dear friends, This is Steve again on behalf of Margaret my dear wife. Just as you dare to think matters are slowly improving, this has happened! Margaret got out of bed on Sunday morning and went to the bathroom. As she stood up she felt a vice like grip from her spine, around her ribs and crushing

Adult circumcision - 28 days later…
Well I’m 28 days on now from having a circumcision, following diagnosis of severe phimosis which worsened over past year or two, and led to balantis. Operation was fine & pain was & has been mild since. Not needed any painkillers at all. Recovery has been tough though and is still ongoing. I’d say the

How to get partner to understand?
My current pain issues have been increasing for the last 3 years or so. My partner has been accusing me of abusing prescription painkillers (I don't) and also that I was wasting my time going to remedial massage when what I needed was a steroid injection. I finally got this last week. I think it has

Hello all, After being on pred (7mg) for the past four years, my rhumi insists it can't be pmr as I'd have been cured by now :-( I realise from here that this is not always the case. co-codamol and Apixaban, can they be taken together ok.
I'm having a lot of back pain at the moment and paracetamol isn't working. Anyone got any thoughts on the best pain killer. I tried Devils Claw and got virtually every possible side effect on the list. Plus I had AF every day I took it. All the best. Roy
