Can anyone help please? My dear wife is in constant pain day and night and reacts to all known painkillers. She has severe osteoporosis and following her latest two spontaneous fracturesin her lumbar spine she was 'put forward' for Teriparatide . I appreciate what this drug is and of course, it isn't

Heartbroken update
Today is my beloved sister's funeral. She passed away 2 days ago. After 3 months in ICU intubated and tracheo, she was given the all clear and moved to a rehab centre since March. She had the oxygen removed and was eating, walking, doing indoor biking, speaking, laughing, planning her next holidays

Headaches
I’ve been getting headaches for god knows how long now. I’m used to them and can function with them even though my vision spins and I’m in pain. I find it quite impressive actually but it’s not a skill that can be listed on my resume so I don’t mention it to anyone (no one likes a complainer 👍) I don

Hey guys, I’ve currently been suffering really badly with my endometriosis for a while now. This has left me bed ridden, unable to walk and aggressively throwing up on the particular bad days. I moved out of area the beginning of the year and had to change GP’s, however my GP failed to refer me to the

HRT that doesn't cause gallstones?
Hello, I am nearly 51 & appear to be 'post menopause'. I have just had my gallbladder removed & strongly feel that my HRT may have caused the stones. I had a scan in 2017 - no stones. Then I was prescribed 3 pumps of Estrogel + 100mg Ultrogestan +pea sized amount of Testosterone. I felt better, but then

Osteoarthritis advice.
I have been taking on prescription a number of Painkillers including Naproxen. For Sciatica and Osteoarthritis. They have helped so much. However, I had a medication review on Monday and told they will not going to supply the anti inflammatory any more. Since stopping them, which I was always told they

Leg Pain
Hi everyone, just a question with regards to pain that my old man is feeling at the moment. It started round about the time he started radiotherapy on his Prostate. They decided to do an MRI and although this chucked up a couple more lesions than what was already known, he was cleared for spinal compression

Sometimes spelling it out gets a response with Rheumatology!
Hello, Well , we are all guilty of getting on with things, when confronted with the wall of trying to get referrals to our own doctors, bloods let alone see Rheumatology! I’ve all but forgotten where my clinic was moved too but out of the blue! I received an email from Rheumatology asking if I could

Broken Shoulder - update
Firstly I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who responded with tea, sympathy and tips when I first posted about breaking my shoulder. It really was so kind of everyone to take the time to add something and lovely to see so many names I’ve not seen before. I’m going for my first physio tomorrow

Severe arm pain after Prostap3
Hello, I had the Prostap3 injection last Wednesday and my arm is so tender and I feel like a bit flu-like. I've spoken to a nurse at the hospital who's advised me to take painkillers, and said if it's not hot and red at the injection site, there's probably no need to be concerned. I had the ProstapSr
