And, with a niggling ankle, it might be a few more days before I get out there, with daily
yoga
til my next run. (*though a glitch in run keeper said I ran 6. 5, doing my first km in 29 seconds 😅)

Taken up
yoga
/ pilates that also help my general well-being. Had telephone discussion with my Edinburgh cardiologist last week to discuss my episodes and to review my echocardiogram results. Thankfully the tests showed my heart was structurally ok with no thyroid or blood count issues.

Friendship
She used to be so fit and strong through her
yoga
practise... She was in so much pain I was biting down on my lip to stop myself from crying. I held her good hand.

ICD fitted on Monday
I loved my weight training and also ran and did
yoga
. Was actually out running when I collapsed. I'm worried about what, if any exercise, I will be able to do once I have recuperated and my leads have bedded in.

Two week post ablation feedback
I mean stuff like spending an hour or so cooking, started
yoga
on day 12; began stretching and mobility work (bad back always, it hates sitting too much) after 6 days but very gently; light housework (ie no vacuuming); ironing; I was finding I got faint if I stood too long, but it seems okay today..

Muscle and joint pain with cirrhosis
I am pretty active with
yoga
and walking, but some days are worse than others and I feel very creaky and elderly ( I’m 64). I have been doing some physiotherapy for the shoulder pain, but there is little improvement. Has anyone else had these symptoms?

Woohoo! Done it!
So missed out on fabby weather this morning, then had an AMAZING zoom
yoga
session which sorted me out. And the thought just kept niggling all day until I caved in this evening and ran in the drizzle. Not fast- 4km- but 117m ascent. A final naughty sprint dodging the golfers and that was me-done.

Week 4 run 3...smashed it!
I am finding that I need to keep moving for longer than 5 minutes in a cool down or I seize up (again probably to do with the fibro) so i walked the dogs for ten minutes then did my cool down
yoga
.

The wisdom of yoga. It is truth, from the inside out.

Advise required - doctors won’t
I get stiff and painful joints if I don’t do my
yoga
.. I can be in quite a lot of discomfort on a morning my spine feels stiff and aches I’m starting to get mouth ulcers and headaches, some days I feel weak and drained, my hair has always been quite thin. Some days the light bothers my eyes.

🌈How are you doing on the Strength and Flex HOME WORKOUT QUEST for May🌈
Perhaps a handstand, a particular
yoga
move, a type of lift in your weight training. •Carrying on doing what you are doing… maintaining the frequency and focus.

Post ablation 1 month update
I can now do practically everything indoors and have also been gradually increasing gentle
yoga
(is there any other sort?!) plus a few gentle Pilates exercises. That's all fine. I get 2-3 days of feeling good and then 1-2 days of feeling tired so I expect my pacing could improve!

Week 6 Run 3 - tough!
I've been making sure I drink lots, stretching before and after, and doing
yoga
/strength work on my rest days - is there anything else anyone can suggest or is this just part of the endurance journey....?!
