Medical Marijuana
My State passed a bill for medical marijuana. I don't need it now, but it is good to know if I do I will be able to get it.

Migraines and medical marijuana
Hi there, has anyone tried medical marijuana for migraines? I read a scientific report online from the New Scientist claiming the data is not complete yet to produce concrete proof of its pain reduction capacity. I did however, read it is good for neuropathic pain. So are migraines technically neuropathic

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Medicinal Fungi - Oyster mushroom - Pleurotus ostreatus
Can vegans eat oyster mushrooms?: "The oyster mushroom is one of the few known carnivorous mushrooms. Its mycelia can kill and digest nematodes, which is believed to be a way in which the mushroom obtains nitrogen." [1] Only one PCa study (but it has been widely studied in other cancers). [2] (2006

Balanitis abroad in USA
I'm a 22 year old male. Currently backpacking across America. Recently I have started to notice mild symptoms of what I believe to be balanitis. My penis and foreskin is slightly red in places and sometimes swollen. There is no real itch or pain or noticeable discharge. I think my hygiene is generally

Proctitis Update 3, 4, and 5.
Well pain management, feels like a waste of time. My quality of life is no better than when I started, and I'm still in pain. Medical Marijuana, after months of hit or miss I think I have found the right ratio of THC to CBD. 1 to 20. The 1 to 1 ratio wasn't doing much. Now the big event in my life is

Prednisone alternative?
My partner has PMR, was on prednisone for about 11 mo. when she had a bowel perforation. Her surgeon (who performed a colostomy) believes the prednisone was the cause of it. It seems her only alternative is methotrexate. She hates the idea of going on it as it seems poison to her. Her rheumatologist

Effects of medical marijuana on a daTscan
Hi all: I have a question. My new neurologist has scheduled a daTscan two weeks from now. My old neurologist prescribed medical marijuana to allow me to sleep through night-time debilitating pain (I reacted badly to all the pain meds he prescribed). The new doctor has said that he doesn't think that

Hi, I've just been diagnosed with Hep C, which I must have acquired in 1981. I am 56 years old. Apparently I have a fatty liver and a high viral load. I am meeting with my consultant on Wednesday. I don't know my geno type yet. How long do you think it will be before I start treatment? Is it usually

HI, I'M BACK!
Hi, everyone. I have been off-line for a few weeks because the nerve pain I had been experiencing took over my life. Every time that someone touched my right palm, inner elbow, or shoulder, my back arched up like a cat and I felt as if I was being stabbed with knives from my shoulders to my fingers

Just another issue to fight though...

Curious
Hi everyone. I'm curious to know. I heard that medical marijuana is good for chronic pain and chronic illness. Please don't get me wrong. I have never did any type of drugs that wasn't prescribed to me. But now I'm concerned about the side effects of all these different type of pain meds that I'm taking
