For months, Everyday constant nausea and uppEr stomach cramps. Gi test are coming back clear, might try TCA, anyone know if this can work?
I have had this constant nausea and abdomen discomfort for months, where I am miserable, anxious, and barely able to eat. I don’t feel depressed or sever anxiety but this is where my doctors are heading towards. Any advice

Advice needed re timing of split doses please
I’ve been reading various posts over the last weeks and have found excellent advice on how to manage the tapering process and split doses which has transformed my experience of tapering. Started last winter with PMR ( on top of another blood related auto immune condition) and had to leap up to 15mg daily

My 3 year old seems to have immature bowels. He is half toilet trained.
My son seems to be not physically aware that he need to poop and even when it is happening. I have been toilet training him for 8 months. He can pee in the toilet no problems but not poop. He shows now signs that he needs to poop or even that he is having one. He also doesn't seem to notice if he has

Overcoming chronic depression/ anxiety
Hi guys, I have struggled with mental health issues since childhood, I can go through months of struggling or months of success but so far, it ALWAYS comes back. I’m 32 now and was wondering if anyone else has experienced long term recurring depression/anxiety like that and has anyone managed to permanently

Terribly painful & drastic peeling feet
Hi all, I hope you've all enjoyed the sunshine today & decent temperature. I wrote a number of weeks ago about my feet & you kind members replied. I caught a programme 3 wks ago whilst channel changing which was describing what I experience. They had called it Epidermolysis Bullosa (E.B) but my GP said

Psychology vs physical diagnosis - help please!
I've a fair amount of experience in academic research into routes to improve subject motivation, both to prevent a number of health conditions with similar causality, and to reduce progression, or reverse them where possible, once established. For me, understanding exactly what is happening takes away

Feeling more positive
Hi I posted about 3 weeks ago really at the end of my tether, and wondering if I would be able to return to work again. Since then I have contacted the hospital and I have a telephone appointment with an EP at the end of Sept and then out of the blue I got a call from the cardiologist who suggested I

Little battle update ;)
Good morning all you dear peeps🤗🌻 I have been measured up and tattooed for a stereotactic radiotherapy starting first session on 22nd September at 10am on alternate days for 5 sessions. Hopefully it will work, otherwise a lot longer 👍🏾positive thoughts and prayers are with me, as a spiritual aid.

Is my experience with IBS normal/Any tips?
Hi, I’ve had IBS for for around 4 or 5 years now and was wondering whether my experiences with it have been normal or if something else could be wrong also. I think my IBS flares are brought on due to anxiety more than diet as ever since I was at school I would get diarrhoea and pains nearly every day

Fibroscan results please help me understand this
Hi everyone, I just go my results back from the fibroscan test. Hepatic parenchymal stiffness (measure of elasticity) : 13.1 kPa, with IQR/Median percentage of 27 % Hepatic steatosis grade (scale S0-S3): S3, Severe steatosis. I know this means severe fatty liver and fibrosis stage 3 but what i was wondering

Managing a Trip Away and Wedding
I suffer from extreme bowel habits and juggle diarrhoea and constipation. Hospital and GP have prescribed varios medications and left me to self medicate. I am travelling down the country on Friday for a family wedding on Saturday. I know I can take Loperamide, but this blows me up like a balloon even

Can you get impacted again even when on a movicol maintenance dose?
My daughter has been suffering from constipation for a year. In May we went through our third disimpaction routine. As part of it we kept her on a very high dose of movicol as well as Senna for a month. Then slowly slowly we brought it down to 4 sachets daily. In the last week or so, she’s been unable

Toilet training resources
Hi there, we recently toilet trained my son (he was 3 at the time but has just turned 4) but he is still struggling with doing a poo on the toilet. He has managed to do this twice but has had many accidents. When it’s obvious he needs to go you can almost see a look of panic come over him and he’ll disappear

Sitting in ER anxious
Just had a CT scan with contrast. Anxious the whole time and still. I was able to hold still the whole time by tensing a little to stop the shaking from nervous energy. When it was done my leg was shaking like I've never seen. It was like it wasn't part of me. Anyone experience this? Why just one leg

As planned she telephoned me re. the CT scan I had, she said I had a lot of congestion at the top of my lungs, the right side being a little better. I explained I could not take
