ibs-d and facing surgery
I’m having a knee replacement on Wednesday and worried about my ibs-d as bad at the mo. I’m taking loperamide but worried that if I take too many with the combination of strong painkillers I’ll end up constipated. Also concerned that as im having an epidural I wont be able to feel if I need to go😩

compensated question
Saw one of my consultants doctors last week who felt on examination that ascities was gone. I asked him does that mean I’m compensated and he said I could be. He sent me for an ultrasound and the results were good apart from the usual cirrhosis scarring and gallstones. Trace fluid also which he said

It would have helped to exercise my arm and shoulder following lung surgery in order to avoid frozen shoulder
For those of you having any lung surgery… Please remember to regularly move your body, and especially exercise your arm/shoulder after the surger(ies.) I had chest tubes, pleurodesis, pleurectomy, lung resection, etc. (excuse misspelling.) I felt pain and discomfort after the surgeries so I didn’t move

Starting all over... Again...
Firstly, I need to confess that I am very anxious or maybe scared to post it. As couple of times I tried to come back to running, the last time I decided to share my path with you and then I stopped running. Some breaks are due to illness, some other due to laziness, another time my mental health suffers. So

Best natural anti anxiety remedy
Hi, I was wondering what natural treatments people are taking to help with the anxiety that a lot of us with T have to deal with every day ? Does 5-htp work ? How about St Johns wort and L Theanine ? Which seems to work best for you ?

Mum with CBD
Good morning It's been a while since I wrote on here. My mum got diagnosed with CBD in 2017 we were told in January 2020 she had 4 weeks left to live and was moved into a care home for palliative care. Thankfully she is still with us. Hasn't eaten and been bed bound now for 4 years. She survives on 6

Having Rotator cuff repair tomorrow, and Moh's surgery next week.
Hi, Well, I made through the past week without aspirin and my anti-inflammatories, which I sorely missed, so that tomorrow they can fix my rotator cuff. Then next week, while I'm already out on leave, the basal cell cancer on my nose gets its turn. Hopefully, things go well, so please wish me luck

Meeting from Online Dating
Hi guys, I started talking to a great guy on a dating website. We really hit it off and we are still talking daily. After a few months of talking and getting to know each other, we are planning to meet in person soon. I expressed how excited I was to see him and kiss him. He was in a car accident and

A few days ago he finally got a room on a liver ward as opposed to the general ward, this has been much better
