Good news about the creatinine levels, but there is some questions :(
I'm so happy with my result Also the doctor said that is due to the high
protein
diet and the
whey
protein
that I took when I was going to the gym!!! Should I be doing Biopsy test to be sure that I don't have CKD 100%? (another doctor said you have to do it to be sure)???

A difficult customer
Hello i've just joined this group so will summarise my experiences. I have a very understanding oncologist who has been very supportive but also refers to me, not always in jest, as her "difficult one". The reason is that I have rejected most of what is referred to as Standard Care here in the UK. I

New to this community. Just received prostate cancer diagnosis with 4+3 Gleason score.
Trying to decide course of action. Leaning toward proton therapy. Cancer is currently contained. So much info to process. It is overwhelming.

Hi all. Thanks for having me - I feel totally alone and have nobody to talk to. My very first symptom was a sore/stiff shoulder with no cause. (Though I experienced sore wrists 4 months prior to that. I thought maybe carpal tunnel at the time.) That was about 6 months ago. It escalated quickly to fully

Hashimoto thyroiditis how do you tell?
Hi all, can anyone tell me you know if you have Hashimoto thyroiditis? I've never been told which I have. However, I got mine from cancer treatment so I had proton therapy to my neck and I got hypothyroidism as a side effect.

Omega-3 supplement does not help above 50- Study indicates.
Another example is
whey
protein
extracted from milk in cheese making process. The supplement is becoming a big business world over. It is a fact that the Biological value of
whey
protein
is very high at 104, when compared with Gold standard Egg protein at 96.

I have had to switch to a meal replacement that is used for people who have gastric bypass surgery that uses
whey
isolates rather than

protein
. The protein was not breaking down and I was getting no nutrition from it.

Obese T2 DM Vs Thin T2 DM
Are you Obese T2 or Thin and skinny T2?? I have been studying the Etiology & mechanism of Obese T2 Vs Thin/Skinny T2 since quite some time. I have accessed a lot of research papers/ studies on the subject. I find there is a lot of difference between the two and therefore the strategies to be followed

Confused.
I have been hypothyroid for many years on 175mcgs levothyroxin. In March 2018 I moved house and doctors and a blood test showed the following Serum free T4 level 41 pmol/L. (10.0 - 22) Serum TSH level <0.01 mu/L (0.3 - 5.5) I was told I was Hyperthyroid and my Levo reduced by 50 mcgs to 125 mcgs.

How to select a protein powder
* Protein powders are nothing but a convenient resource of
protein
mostly made from milk,
whey
, casein or soy. In recent times,
protein
is also being extracted from peas and dehydrated into powder form especially for people who follow veganism. *Why are they consumed?

LCHF Practitioners - Please be aware!
Though I am eating a lot of
protein
supplement ..
whey
supplement .. Yes it is a challenge if you are not eating some complex carbs.. well you should not go up to 80% carbs , but at least 30-35% complex carbs.
