Questions for the RO for my upcoming video conference regarding options for early salvage treatment (and ADT) after Radical Prostatectomy?
I had my radical prostatectomy (RP) on 6/3/2019. Given my pathological results (see below for details) and the definite trend in my PSA levels over the last 18 months (see graph below), my surgeon now thinks I should pursue early salvage radiation therapy and I agree, but now trying to decide on the

MRI results
Hello all - MRI results surprisingly were released about 2 hours ago. Not sure why on a Sunday. Ryan had a thought that if they were released on a weekend that it was obviously good news. It is not good, nor completely bad. There were no "definitive" language used. Words such as "suspect" and "compatible

Crp and Hashimotos
Hi, I’m interested in what would be considered a normal level of crp - c reactive protein level in people who have Hashimotos. Figure it would be much higher then the normal range. My doctor refuses to test my levels but I want to know what my inflammation level is. I have been hospitalised in the past

Nutrition - What do I eat ? Well -You are what you eat !
This question keeps coming up every now and then ! So I decided to come out with this post for reference of all members. Nutrition is a simple subject though we human beings have made it complex... We eat food to live ...but the type of food we eat varies depending upon our traditions, Religion, Culture

Diabetes & Insulin Resistant - Are you Insulin resistant ?
Diabetes is not just an issue of blood sugar , it is a complex metabolic disorder causing a host of complications. If we understand it well, we can have a better control and even we may be able to reverse it if we treat it holistically with change in various aspects of our life style... Insulin Resistance

C reactive protein high
Had my bloodwork done and the nurse called saying my c reactive protein has gone up to 17mg l. Which is unusually high for me in comparison to my past. She said we won’t worry about it now. But have your bloodwork done again in 3 month’s. Hmm. Any thoughts???

Help Please: Blood test results for my Ma... speaking to a Dr tomorrow, Wednesday...many thanks for your help.
Hello Folks, My Ma takes levo. She was started on it at the beginning of this year, on the minimal dose. She is also now experiencing serious hair loss which is very upsetting to her, though nobody seems to be too bothered at the new surgery. Our surgery closed down in March. All our Dr's have disappeared

Liver function tests
I had chest pains a few weeks ago, went to A&E and after 8 hours I was discharged, told to take it easy and see the cardiac nurse. I am now down for echocardiogram, reviewing my other arteries and existing stents (full metal jacket of 4 stents), possible angiogram, stress test, plus full review of meds
