Who else has purchased Albutrix?
I have been reading Stopping Kidney Disease by Lee Hull. I buy into the very low protein diet but don't really know much about product. Have others used this product long enough to get blood tests verifying the results?

PBM therapy??
I’ve just read a promotional article about pbm treatment, some sort of light therapy, which included the magic words ‘reducing inflammation ‘. It tells me it boosts mitochondrial function. It’s used for systemic conditions such as chronic fatigue and autoimmune diseases. I prick up my ears at the sound

I was newly diagnosed with a wheat allergy. I decided it would be easiest to follow a gluten free diet. I’ve doing great eating vegetables, fruits, proteins. Nothing out of the ordinary for me. Just no wheat. Well, this is the 4th day GF and I’m getting major hot flashes, tingly all over my body and

PSP and HD B1 Thiamine
My husband has PSP Diagnosed about a year ago after originally being diagnosed with PD in 2015. It took about 4 years to get the PD diagnosis. His main symptoms at first were loss of energy and motivation and very, very slow to do anything. Later came stiffness, double vision, weakness in his left leg

How to replace Peanut butter in new low protein diet
Hello: I am slowly working through Lee Hull's new book. Looking at my nutritional numbers I see I have to replace the peanut butter. Been putting it on my crackers at lunch. Any recommendations for low protein snack? I have room for more carb and a bit of fat.

Losing weight, I’m new to all this
Anyone on here experience extreme weight loss, I am on 50 Lev and have spells where I lose a lot of weight. I am a slim person by nature anyway and don’t tend to gain weight with my under active thyroid, I go the other way and lose it. I wasn’t born with the condition, I contracted it after the birth

Dreary weather
Thought I would have a cook in today as the weather is a tad chilly and dreary. Managed to make my low carb (11g per roll) rolls - crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside, and have cooked roasted beetroot and carrot to go with a couple of lamb chops for tonight.

Are You Struggling?
There have been a few posts lately where people are getting a little discouraged and wondering whether LCHF is for them. Well, first of all, the biochemistry is rock solid, and when applied properly the results are there for EVERYONE. Basically, ALL diets have one thing in common - whether low carb
