A few developments - anybody got similar
Don’t want to bore you all but I have had a couple of developments recently apart from having my Rituximab extended for another year. Firstly I am on statins since last Thursday, I am fit, I get out, eat a low carb/high fibre diet but my cholesterol is around 7 so it just shows you. No after effects

Hello, I was dx with PD in 2019. I’ve progressed to stage 3 and have tried a lot of synthetic meds. I wont take tgem if the side effects worsen my current symptoms. That excludes most. I have read a million articles on new and upcoming tests and trials. I’m tired of chasing the rabbit. Although I cant

T3 trial continues
Hi there - here are my latest bloods - done fasting with no meds and before 9am - last dose of levo 24 hours before - last dose T3 12 hours before I've worked hard at improving vitamins and minerals - still ferritin is a bit low but currently on a dose of iron tabs from GP so may improve by the end

W3R1 - lead leg running
Oomph, this was hard. I couldn't breathe, my legs were from lead, the wind somehow was always in my fave and not the back, and it started raining at the end of the run. At least my dog was obedient and she was happy to run with me :)I googled reasons for lead leg running feeling, and I don't expect any

red light therapy
Hi I have been looking into the benefits of red light therapy for muscle issues and wondered if anyone had tried this - I can’t see any contradictions with hydroxi and will be mainly using this on my neck , upper back and thyroid areas - I know this won’t help ET as such but using for other issues.

Which is more damaging, high triglycerides or high blood glucose?
I have both conditions and have been given a different diet for each. I think it’s going to be impossible to live without fats AND carbohydrates. Which do you think would be the lesser of two evils? I’m currently on a low carb high fat diet.

Nausea - is it the pred, or something else?
I’m a little concerned in case my
weight
loss
is due to something more sinister than my
diet
. I feel well otherwise except I tire easily - but what can I expect at my age? Apologies for the long post and thank you for reading.

Pred reduction and feelings of low blood sugar
'Morning everyone! I am using DL's slow taper and have reduced to the dose which has caused flares in the past - between 5mg and 7mg. I have been on 6mg for over a week and have noticed feelings of hunger and the associated feelings of low blood sugar plus, this morning, tightness in the neck muscles

hi. Just as the title says really. I have been diagnosed with lipoedema stage 3 for years now. It has got worse as I go through menopause, but the worst problem is that I have heart problems which they won’t treat until I lose weight, also knee problems and the nhs won’t operate. Worse still I am due

gluten free
I kept reading about gluten free diets helping people on levothyroxine but never stuck to it properly for more than a few days, until now. I have been, to my knowledge, entirely gluten free for 2 full weeks and I just wanted to come here and say that I feel much better ! I have been going to the toilet

Benefits of low carb and heart-health
I know this is a controversial topic, but would like to put it out there anyway and get some views. There is a massive debate about fat vs carb and its merits on health in general. Any personal anecdotes or research that points to following a low carb diet for healthy heart health? What do cardiologists

Food sensitivities
Hi everyone, just looking for a bit advice re food issues. I have had long term issues with constipation, which resolved when I went dairy free. I also find I feel much better on a gluten free diet so have been GF and DF for about 1 year. These are both very tricky to manage when eating out and I know
