Being sick with cramps
I’m okay once I get some codeine in me but I’m having trouble keeping it down long enough for it to work 😭 This is by far one of the worst flares I’ve had, I’ve been using a hot water bottle and
voltarol
on the outside but was wondering if anyone had any tips on keeping the nausea at bay?

Juicing for pain relief .
I use
voltarol
( the 12 hour one ) but it doesnt really do much to help. So my son got me a nutri ninja juicer and for the past few years i have been juicing and find that it really helps with the inflammation and pain, also seems to keep infections at bay.

Treatment options -pros and cons
My love affair with MTX is rapidly decreasing but of the other options I can’t take NSAIDs after a stomach bleed on both
voltarol
and arthrotec (the 5 days on arthrotec before we had to stop I felt awesome though but that was long before I was this bad) and we’ve tried plaquenil, azathioprine, mepacrine

It goes up and down like a roller coaster
I had a shower, was still shaking from the pain, and I just felt like crying, my momma rubbed some
voltarol
gel on my calves, got me a hot water bottle and tucked me up in bed... I cried... and now after that. I’m feeling slightly better Why am I in such pain? Is it because I have a BMI of 36?

Salicylate Intolerance Causing My (or Your!) RLS?
The allergic reaction was caused by
Voltarol
gel - something I had been absolutely ASSURED by a doctor wouldn't give me problems after I told her I was sensitive to NSAIDS. I used it twice and - disaster! BIG time allergic reaction (you have to wonder at doctors’ training sometimes).

Early Symptoms - My approach
Using
Voltarol
Gel on affected finger and on occasion ibuprofen/aspirin. At the moment I am trying to exclude: A) Gluten + Sugar - seems to be a trigger B) Potatoes, Peppers and tomatoes ( nightshade family) - tomatoes might be ok deseeded and de-skinned .

Week 3 / Run 3 - feeling good, but knee niggles are concerning me!
So, the question... if the pain can be managed by using
Voltarol
(which it seems it can), am I ok to still run on it, or am I going to make it worse if the Volterol is just ‘hiding’ the pain?!? I really don’t want to stop running but equally, I don’t want to do more harm. Cheers Simon

Pain in side
Has anyone had pain in side like a pulled rib muscle as a side effect of any vitamins or herbal remedies? Not sure what the pain is due to as it might be pulled muscle but I can’t remember doing it. Can Voltaren be taken with thiamine, mannitol , etc?

What pain-killers did you take before diagnosis? (PMR)
What about using
Voltarol
gel instead of Ibuprofen tablets? Might that help? All tips gratefully received.

How were your experiences coming off DAs?
Hi all, I've had RLS since about 10 years. I've taken Pramipexole for it nightly for about 6 years of those. I was up to 0.54mg per night, having to increase my dosage regularly to keep its effect on my sleep. When this didn't help anymore, being the maximum recommended for RLS, at least by some sources

I can’t take anti-inflammatory drugs d/t Barrets esophagus and reflux problems. On here to learn how to achieve some pain control

Pain in the buttock .................
I have been using
Voltarol
and solpadine max ( highest otc codine) but to no avail. Last week I saw my GP who told me it could be bursitis, but today at cardio rehab one of the nurses said it could be my statins?

My arms & legs were on fire & pain
Well last night I suffered with spinal pain and shakes as my spine hurt so bad. My arms and legs were on fire! They hurt and throbbed and it felt like my skin was on fire! I rubbed my muscles with Voltaren extra strength cream and it helped a little. I took breakthrough meds and fell asleep which was

I can’t use anti inflammatory creams such as deep heat or
voltarol
cream as I react to it so was wondering if this stuff might help with lupus joint pain as well as osteoarthritis. Has anyone tried it and if so did it help at all? Many thanks
