Juicing for pain relief .

Hi all. I am allergic to strong painkillers and my pain levels with the osteo arthritis and fibromyalgia are sometimes quite bad. I use voltarol ( the 12 hour one ) but it doesnt really do much to help. So my son got me a nutri ninja juicer and for the past few years i have been juicing and find that it really helps with the inflammation and pain, also seems to keep infections at bay. I changed my diet and cut out a lot of junk food and now try to eat as healthy as i can, not a big meat eater, i tend to eat fish more and plenty of veg with sweet potato, rice or pasta . I do a raw veg juice once a day , usually consists of spinach or kale, carrots, omega mixed seeds, apple, kiwi , avocado and blueberries. Organic when possible. My diet does seem to determine how good or bad i feel.

Hello Carrina

Nutrition is definitely important.

I am not into juicing. Actually I have been told to avoid juicing because it destroys some nutritional elements in the juicing process.

If it works for you that’s the main thing.

Take care.

I found some 'somewhat strange' but very tasty juice recipes in Jason Vale's books. They're primarily juice diets but I'm not into that, I just like the juices. I also like his soup and smoothie recipes.
