Hi all. Can I rub voltarol gel for a very painful back, and also take ,Veganin whilst taking thyroxine

Topical application of Voltarol should be fine. Veganin contains paracetamol, codeine and caffeine, & whilst it isn't contraindicated, it's one of those drugs which on some drug info sites has the advisory note "tell your Dr if you are hyothyroid", presumably because of the codeine element; but that warning doesn't seem to be included in this patient information leaflet. Voltarol and Olfen gels are definitely a thumbs up from me. These are gels which have saved me on multiple instances from excruciating pain.

If you do not mind me asking. Which part of your back do you feel this pain and for how long have you had it?
