Hi,

Has anyone used Voltarol ( Diclofenac ) suppositories for neuropathic pain ?

Did they relieve the pain ? Did they upset your stomach ? Which strength suppository did you use ?

Thanks

When I first injured my back at work they put me on volterol supp only used them for 3 weeks . I don't think they worked for me it was hard to insert them myself due to my back so needed help . Then they realised I was as asthmatic and was admitted to hospital with a full blown attack . I never considered there would be a problem I have had well controlled asthma since a child and being a nurse I should have known better . They have attempted to put me on loads of different meds for pain which I have had nasty reactions to so I just stick to cocodamol . My friend also hurt her back in work found them amazing she could no longer work on the wards but managed to get a job for the royal college of nursing . If they control your pain it's worth trying anything good luck xxxx
