Anticoagulant and bleeding - your experience?
Since then he has included non acidic form of
Vitamin
C
with his iron dose. However I have finally booked a private appointment with an EP for this week as he has not yet been referred to a cardiologist/EP on NHS for several weeks.

That is quite upsetting and I will be starting on
vitamin
C
& D plus androlic acid. I just want to warn people new to pmr to make sure they are aware of this as there is just so little information about the condition other than through this forum. Good luck to you all with your pmr journey.

Update on neurology appointment
Has said he will get GP to up the tablets to 3 times a day (as I had had before) and add in
vitamin
C
and then recheck bloods. It wasn’t appropriate to bring up Buprenorphine at this time but I will next time if things haven’t improved.

CHRONIC INSOMNIA
I’m supplementing iron, folate,
vitamin
C
,
vitamin
D, b12 injections, selenium, zinc, just started B complex (first time in years). I use melatonin & magnesium glycinate at the elusive bed time. I should be mid to optimal in vitamin levels.

Health factory liquid nano iron
I have problems with the standard iron tablets given by GPs, even if I take it with
vitamin
C
. A dietician told me today that I ought to take liquid Nano iron. She said it has far higher absorption, no constipation etc.

If I don’t talk about it, would that help? How do I heal?
Going to take some
vitamin
C
. Also my shoulder moved in a positive way so that’s good. I think it wasn’t quite in its socket and maybe that will make my neck feel much better and I can heal finally??? Miracle plus nature combo life victory possibly? Wish me luck. Lots to do. Thanks. Rest.

Vit C study for this group?
On the
vitamin
C
one he talks about how it might be helpful in reducing AF but big pharma are never going to sponsor a study as there is no money in it for them. He suggests it is something patients could do for themselves. It occurred to me that this group would be ideal for this.

Iron info
Ferrous sulfate caplets 325 mg are taken by mouth, 2 to 3 times a day, on an empty stomach with a
vitamin
C
tablet to aid absorption. Again, this is temporary and should be monitored by a doctor.

RLS and iron
The standard oral iron is ferrous sulfate 325 mg, taken with
vitamin
C
500 mg to aid absorption. However, many people will experience GI issues such as constipation. But it is a starting point and it often works somewhat.

I have RLS and recently updated iron labs revealed the following: Ferritin=59.2ng/mL & Transferrin Saturation = 53%.
I have been taking oral iron supplements (Iron sulfate 325mg) and
Vitamin
C
200 mg daily on an empty stomach but the ferritin has been going up but slowly but the transferrin saturation has gone up much higher. Should I continue with my iron supplements?
