Hi All, has anyone ever heard of, or taken, Health Factory liquid Nano Iron?I have problems with the standard iron tablets given by GPs, even if I take it with vitamin C.
A dietician told me today that I ought to take liquid Nano iron.
She said it has far higher absorption, no constipation etc.
It is very expensive so before I order some I would be interested in your input.

30 ml contains is equivalent to 14 mg of iron bisglycinate. Since you need 65 mg you can calculate whether it is worth it. Have you tried taking iron with food. You will absorb less but it should be easier on your stomach.
There is 500 ml is a bottle that costs 32.95 pounds. Since one needs 65 mg of elemental iron one would have to take 120 ml so you would only get 4 servings a bottle.
Actually ferrous fumarate should be taken at least 1 hour before a meal or coffee or tea and at least 2 hours after a meal or coffee or tea just as others. Your doctor probably told you that because of your problem.
You might want to try Ferrous gluconate which is OTC and less constipating. You could try it first as above and if that is a problem take it with food. 300 mg has 35 mg of elemental iron which is less than you need so will raise your ferritin slower especially taken with food. Take it with Lactobacillus plantarum 299v also over the counter which will increase its absorption. If the bottles give the CFU, look for the highest one.
If that works then you could try taking 2 tablets and if that works try taking 3 tablets.
Avoid taking foods with high amounts of phytic acid (which inhibits absorption of iron) when taking the iron. These are grains: whole wheat, oats, and rice. Legumes: Black beans, pinto beans, kidney beans, soybeans, peanuts, and lentils. Nuts and seeds: Walnuts, pine nuts, almonds, and sesame seeds. They are fine for other meals when not taking iron.
