Hello again lovely people. I thought I’d come back and update having been on Levo 50mcg since diagnosis 3 months ago. In early January the GP asked me to retest and only TSH was done (big let down but not unexpected)! I was amazed that after only 2 months on Levo 50mcg that my TSH had dropped to 0.44

Ducks in a row
I was first diagnosed with Pernicious anaemia 3 or 4 years ago but thought nothing of it until my legs and arms started going numb and I kept falling round the place and had difficulty walking and getting up from a fallen or seated position. I now am aware of how serious it is, I've stopped drinking

Medichecks Results and Advice please
Good morning everyone - following my last post when I was suffering a backslide from my previous post when I was feeling so much better - you recommended me to get a full private test - initially to get a T3 reading, but as I was unsure of my Folate /Vit D etc I went for the full Advanced Thyroid test

Face to face with doctor.
Well I finally managed to have a face to face this morning at my surgery. It was with a new doctor who I have never seen before. She seemed very nice and did seem to be sympathetic to my worries over my hypothyroidism but seemed to want to keep the TSH is king theory and how they can tell eveything they

Hello all, I am desperately waiting for my usual Panpharma hydroxycobalamin acetate to come back onto the usual German shelves so I can get it ordered. I am on my last box now and bought some different to tide me over but it’s the 2ml product and I am not looking forward to having to use it. 2 questions

Medical Insurance coverage?
I was shocked when I sent in my claims to our Insurance company -when they “denied” the claim saying they do not cover any supplements or vitamins. 🤔 Hmm. So, this is frustrating and annoying. The cost of supplements that my Doctor has prescribed is significant. anyone else had this same situation?

should I keep going
I started my loading doses of B12 and l was very up and down with it. Then in October l got my first 3mth injection and it floored me for 2wks after that my energy levels started coming back up. I spoke to my doctor about it and she said that maybe I should come off of B12. I got another 3mth in January

results of 156
Hi, I’ve just finished a course of loading does and had a blood test following which the receptionist has told me has come back as 156 and no further action required however my symptoms have been getting worse not better. Should I contact my gp again or just carry on until my next does in 3 months?

Adcal-D3
Just a quick query. Has anyone else suffered from nausea when taking Adcal-D3 chewable? I was wondering if the tablets contain lactose, as I'm allergic to it. Since having been diagnosed with a fractured L2 and osteoporosis, the RA team and my GP both recommend them. I was taking Solgar Calcium Citrate

Help with timing, drinks etc for MonitorMyHealth Test
I was wondering what the best practice is for taking blood samples at home for a Monitor My Health test. I usually try to sleep 10pm-6am, and I have breakfast around 7.20am. However sometimes I don't sleep that long, for example today I slept from 10pm to 4am and couldn't sleep any more. I usually
