I bought three boxes of b12 (not Pascoe, the brand that’s impossible to get now). The first two boxes, once my body had got used to it, I always had the same reaction - tired but a feeling of well being and warmth, particularly in my back.
when I started the third box I felt freezing cold and shaky, looked a bit grey, felt nauseous and just grim. I inject once a week so after the second week of feeling like this, I wondered if it was the box. Old symptoms were also coming back like weakness, depression, tingling in hands and, legs and lack of stamina.
Switched to Pascoe and I’m back to feeling warm and nice again. Am still not as well as I was, but am improving.
is this my weird body or is this actually a thing? The boxes were bought in winter and have been stored together in a cool dark place. I was panicking thinking I was getting worse again!

I also have my suspicions about bad batches at the moment. I had been using Accord or I think it’s now badged as Gerot Lannach.
I have now switched to Pascoe and have felt an improvement and a reduction in symptoms that had returned. I kept 1 ampoule from my original supply (in case the Pascoe didn’t agree for any reason) however this week I thought I would use the remaining single ampule and I’ve felt bad ever since with returned symptoms again.
I also haven’t changed anything else. Not a scientific study but i do think it seems suspicious.
I wish there was a simple test we could all perform on an open ampoule to determine if it was ok. For example a ‘litmus’ type of test which could give us a clear yes/no on the concentration or quality before we inject.
They were on a private prescription and the boxes look so similar, I think you’re right they are completely different brands.
So I’ve just checked and the batch in question were Garot Lannach.
Could well be shipping. Once they arrive they’ve been stored in a cool dark place. But it does feel like my last box was ineffective (5 ampoules in one of these boxes)
