Heart palpitations following ha and stent

Morning all.

My name is James, I'm 43 and recently (Jan 11th) has a heart attack which resulted in a stent being fitted.

I am on the following medication:

Bisoprolo

Lansodrazole

Aspirin

Ticagrelor

Atorvastatin

Ramipril

Allopurinol

I also take Wellman Max which is vitamins and minerals daily.

I was in hospital for 2 days then came home and everything was fine, however a month on today and I have started getting heart palpitations especially if I sit a certain way or lay down. They seem to go if I am up and about.

It almost feels like my heart is doing or missing a beat and I get a slight throb in my throat, really doesn't make sense does it but its really hard to explain.

Anyway I went to the docs who took my blood pressure and listened to my heart etc and said it all seems fine, it's not painful or anything just really annoying especially when trying to relax sitting down or sleep.

Anyone else get/had this and any advice? I see lots about supplimenting with magnesium but haven't read much in to it or spoken to my doctor about it as yet.

Many thanks in advance.

James

Hi James sorry to hear your having problems a month or so later.Takes time for your body to get used to the concoction of tablets for them to be fully effective.Youve done the right thing getting checked out by your doctor, don't hesitate to engage.Youve already worked out you feel better when moving.Keep it going slowly but surely you will improve.

Hi Jaylam

I am experiencing similiar symptoms as you with stens fittning in a couple of months ago, and I get severe palpitations when asleep.

Docs say everything looks fine, did you by any chance find out what’s wrong,

Thanks in advance

Hi, hope you are recovering well.

I didn't no, however it has now settled down. I think it was just my body getting used to all the medication to be honest.

Maybe keep a diary of when it happens but I am 6 months (ish) on now and like I say it very rarely happens now.

Kind Regards

J
