B12 Deficiency, recently diagnosed, seeking advice.
Hi, I was initially diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome about 18 months ago, due to numbness, pins and needles and burning sensations in my left arm / hand and left leg. I was given a cortisone injection from which I felt no benefit whatsoever from. I explained the GP that along with the numbness

Pregnacare
I've been taking this for around a year now. I've also been taking CoQ10 & Omega 3. I'm looking to add magnesium & zinc into my supplement library. Pregnacare looks like it has very low doses of everything anyway. Can someone recommend a folic acid that I should take? I'm thinking of just taking everything

ET JAK2+ - Could this be progressing and how do I obtain more information/support?
I've have had several consultants (it seems that heamatology has been a revolving door one in one out for years at my hospital) since my diagnosis and I feel like I am getting nowhere. My background is that I was diagnosed ET Jak2+ 10 years ago, after a lengthy battle with Drs over symptoms - they kept

Folic acid question
I've just had a thought about my folic acid. I have mild covid and my rheumy nurse told me to stop mtx for 2 weeks. I forgot to ask if I should continue taking the folic acid daily or is there no need to take it if I'm not taking mtx.Does anyone have experience of this please?

I’m currently on 125mcg of levothyroxine. Overall I’m feeling much better with most bothersome results now being constipation and intense itching which comes and goes. My doctors seem very reluctant to increase my levo and I’ve had to push for each increase so far. These are my recent results.

Reversing Intestinal Metaplasia.
.Hi, I have been reading the results of research from a link on another website stating that supplementation of 30mg folic acid daily can reverse precancerous conditions such as Metaplasia. Has anyone else read similar results from research. Thanks

Clear Cell Progression
Here is an update on my treatment for ovarian clear cell carcinoma, which I guess has now moved into Stage IV (started 1a). My taxol/carboplatin & Avastin chemotherapy treatment was discontinued after 3 infusions, as CT scan showed progression of tumors, and invasion into my liver. The doctors at UCSF

high inflammation markers but no pain.
I was on Prednisolone for about 6 years. For the last year I have been on zero with no recurrent symptoms of PMR. I have recently had a number of blood tests as I had been to the doctor complaining about lethargy and tiredness. I remain active, going to the gym 3x a week although struggling somewhat

One more question about folate
If the body, due to methylation problems, cannot process regular folate, but can process methyl folate, does the non- methylated folate build up in one's system? Thanks again! Nancy

How about Folic acid. i read prostate's have receptors that can help trigger cancer when induced by folic acid
I have taken 5 mg per day folic acid for the last 11 years to help reduce methotrexate side effects for my Rheumatoid arthritis and now have prostate cancer. It may be a coincidence, but I thought I would ask if others had heard about this.

Coming off of Enbrel and Methotrexate before Operation
Dear All, I would be very grateful for others experiences whilst on a weekly Biologic prefilled and weekly Methotrexate tablets with Folic Acid 5mg 6 days a week. My daughter is 32 years old and having a Laparoscopy Operation to remove bilateral ovarian dermoid cysts on 16 May. When should she come

New test results after NHS ones
Hi I got some good advice after being dispirited last week by 'normal' results from my GP. I got a set done by Monitor my health, hope you can read them. My question is, should I go back to my GP and ask for an increase in Levo from 75mcg to 100mcg or is that not going to help my T3 - which is presumably
