Low B12 and Anxiety
Has anyone experienced severe anxiety, panic attacks and disassociation from low B12. How long after starting injections did things improve?

Help with self-injecting
Hi everyone. As scared as I am to think of self-injecting, I finally placed an order for B12 ampoules today. (Thanks, Wedgewood for the info!) I have injections every eight weeks but like clockwork at four weeks in, I always have trouble while out on walks, feel like I am going to fall over

Couple of questions re blood results
I've been trying to get my doctor to let me have B12 injections more frequently. I am currently having them every three months am noticing some improvements in my symptoms initially but the benefits seem to wear off quite soon after a few weeks I would say. Some of my symptoms don't seem to be improving

B12 temperature in transit.
When I saw the dr at the Cambridge blood clinic I was told to get my b12 from a company in Germany. But it’s 30 degrees most days over there the last two weeks or not far off that, and quite hot here also. I messaged them over a week ago to discuss this but they have not replied. So how do I guarantee

Back pain
Hi everyone, I just wondered if you can get increased severe back pain with B12 deficiency? I have Fibromyalgia so I'm in a lot of pain anyway and my doctor says the increased pain at certain times is just my Fibro. But I'm not so sure. I had loading doses at the beginning of February, then by mid April

Dear All, As a community, our journey can be extremely arduous. There is no set pattern to recovery, once we believe that we are on an even keel, something can tip the balance. B12 5mg, is it worth it?
Hi, I have b12 injections and have been offered ampoules of 1mls at 5mg. Has anyone had any experience with these, does it give you a mega boost so I wouldn't have to have as many 1mg injections? Thanks in advance for any advice

B12 Toxicity
Our Doctor recently did a B12 and Ferritin blood test and is now demanding that we stop self injecting with immediate effect to prevent B12 toxicity….. Has anyone ever heard of this and if not, how do we deal with this? My husband has megaloblastic anaeamia and stopping the injections could have fatal

Adrenal support - early days of T3
Hi I have recently started on Liothyronine - followed advice to start slowly and all seems to be going well. I am also on very regular B12 injections. I have a question about supporting adrenal glands. I had (may still have…) low morning cortisol, was given a Short Synacthen test which I passed but

worse after b12 injection
really confused what and where to go from here… I had a b12 hydroxy shot done 3 days ago and I have had so much brain fog, fatigue and just feel spacey ever since. I also do have currently low ferritin of 20 and my b12 was around 250 prior to injection. I had been told people felt better straight away

How does it feel to have too much B12?
I have not SI for 5 weeks now due to anxiety/panic attacks arising after my last couple of injections. I am not sure if I needed to push through this or stop and let things settle. How can you tell whether you need more or less B12? I am finding this very confusing...

So, reversing out. Why?
I have read all about reversing out symptoms after having iron infusion and starting B12 injections. But can anyone tell me why we get these symptoms. What is the science behind it? Surely healing should get easier, not worse. Just interested to know why we go backwards before recovery.
