Error in Design
I experienced successful results of a 12 day trial of 1.5 mg of adenosylcobalamin and 1.5 mg of methylcobalamin 5 times a day including setting an alarm and injecting at night. 50 mg of P-5-P B6 twice a day to treat B6 deficiency. So I designed a trail to explore the results of injecting three forms

B12 Frequency Research
Hi All The frequency of B12 dosing is a regular topic so I thought I would share this in a post if it’s own. Three months ago I revisited "What you need to know about PERNICIOUS ANAEMIA AND B12 DEFICIENCY" by our wonderful Martyn Hooper. The following paragraph on page 143 struck a cord in relation

Confusing first results on T4/T3
Hi all, I'm reposting this as I didn't get any replies 😊 Please see my first results 6 weeks after introducing T3. I'm on 125mcg of levo and 10mcg of lio. I am very confused because I was certain that my current symptoms were due to being undermedicated! And how can my T4 be top of range again despite

Reaction to B12 injection?
I have B12 jabs every 4 months, usually PA neuropathy flares up when it's due but this time it didn't. I felt ill about an hour after the jab, severely dizzy, bit of a headache. I'm not sure if this is a sign I've had more B12 than I need? I'm a bit scared to run it by the GP as one time they stopped

Notes
This is my current system of keeping track of injections. When I first started and was experiencing severe symptoms including brain fog I took a piece of paper and wrote dates on a single page. I would then inject and take the syringe and roll it in the paper that way I would know if I had injected.

Reset - depleted
I talk about doing well after daily injections for 3 years. This is true. however I went to Italy, walked 9 hours a day, plus wine daily. The two things that can surely deplete B12 ... AND had forgot my B12!!! I thought 12 days without it wouldn't matter. Wrong! All my symptoms returned.

Low B12
My private blood test shows low B12 at 48.1 pmol/l. Is this something my GP should follow up with? I take daily B12 supplements but obviously this isn’t sufficient. Many thanks.

Periodic need for more B12
I'd appreciate knowing your experiences about periodically recognising the need to up your B12 injections? My journey has lasted some years and after the initial disasters with GPs dismissing me and becoming very ill, I started to SI. Eventually I found that fortnightly jabs worked brilliantly for me

NICE 2024 B12
Still trying to decipher the new guidelines. Does anyone know or had a : Cobasorb test? I've never heard of it . Name suggests it tests absorption of Cobalamin

Latest test results, not sure what to do next.
Hi, Please see the recent test results above. I'm feeling mostly ok taking 75mg and 100mg Levothyroxine (Teva - changing brands seems to give me problems) on alternate days but still get days feeling cold and fogged up. From the tests I see that D and B12 are both quite low though I take supplements

Importance of vitamin B12
Interesting - Researchers report that depletion of dietary vitamin B12 (which induces propionate breakdown) & propionate supplementation suppress neurodegeneration & reverse Parkinsons-associated transcriptomic aberrations (in C. elegans) https://www.cell.com/cell-reports/fulltext/S2211-1247(24)00193

Love and B12
A little something I created. How love is so similar and soluble as B12 and they both must be applied consistently and often... I know silly. 😜 Injections of love, akin to B12, Begin their dance, a waltz so true. Once they pierce the skin's embrace, It takes some time to find their place. They wander

B12 test results
I know I've been asking a lot of questions lately, trying to figure things out. 🤔 Here's another one!I've seen it commented before than once on injections levels should be over 1000 minimum in order for healing to happen. I also know we are told not to get levels rechecked once on injections. In November

Brain alterations with Chronic Fatigue
Hi all, I'm part of a chronic illness support group and they did a Zoom session on how to use telehealth visits for physical therapy . The physical therapist referenced an article about scientists recently finding what may be the physiological root of chronic fatigue and ME (myalgic encephalomyelitis

where to get b12 injections to self administer?
hello, I am an American living in the UK. I was previously being treated in the USA for my pernicious anemia with once monthly, self injections. In the UK I have been met with absolute apathy and disregard for my condition. I am genuinely just tired of fighting for my care, and don’t have the strength
