I have just been referred to this NHS service provider for my next Eylea injection (now that my private insurance will no longer fund treatment). It looks like this is a relatively new clinic and only very recently started providing wAMD treatment services. Please can anyone share their experiences with this clinic for wAMD treatment. Do they do pre-injection OCT scans and how experienced are their injection staff?
I hope I don't sound too paranoid, but it is always scary switching to a new care provider.

I have had monthly injections for 9 years for DMO and at my clinic it is an amazing service. Obviously the NHS have very high standards. I have a VA done then an OCT then I see the dr to look at the scan which we do together although he has already looked at it and then go to the clean room for my injection.
Sorry not same hospital but would be very surprised if not similar to that
Some clinics do OCT scan etc one day and inj another but same standards should apply across NHS.
My preference for cataract op would not be nhs due to the timings and lack of continuity but very happy to have them do my injections/ implants. Been having them for 6 yrs. Not your clinic though.
