Implantation failure?
Hello everyone, This was my first attempt of IVF and it has been (as everyone knows!) the most stressful time of my life. We tried to conceive naturally for quite a long time (about 6 years) and after being checked, apparently nothing is wrong with either of us. However, we've been recommended IVF/ICSI

More long Covid
Another article on long Covid. Nothing new, but still it's striking to see the similarities with B12 with neurological symptoms. Especially the problems with doctors. https://www.hcplive.com/view/no-one-left-behind-the-long-covid-crisis-2023

Was I wise
Currently on 3.5mg. Rheumatoid arthritis has shown itself in both hands and is very painful. GP said 'I could give you a steroid injection but I don't expect you want that'. I said not - the word 'steroid' frightened me as I am afraid it will be play havoc with the Pred. Was I right to reject his offer

End of running
After completing 6 weeks of the program I had to permanently hang up my running shoes. I have a long standing issue with sacro-iliac pain which running has exacerbated. I am gutted because I love running but the pain and restricted mobility is debilitating so very reluctantly I am giving it up. I have

Should I be worried? CT scan shows Splenomegaly since I got COVID.
OK, now I am scared! I had COVID-19 this past Dec.,I was in the hospital 5 days due to hypoxia. (post COVID) and a CT scan showed my Spleen is enlarged and
pressing on my left kidney
. My urine elimination has changed now and
I have to "push" it out by tightening my muscles

covid thoughts
this has been a “messy” covid with me spluttering and coughing for the last two full days and nights. Gone through so many hankies but my oxygen is at 94% on waking and pulse at 72 so fundamentally not too bad. My pattern seems to be with covid that all my other niggles die down and I naively think

Osteoarthritis in SI joints
Anyone found helpful treatment for OA in the SI joints? I exercise, stretch daily and have had steroid injections. Otc nasid's help a bit but I don't feel comfortable taking them daily.

Duloxetine
Hi all, I’ve been suffering with IBS-M for over 3 years now. As a result Anxiety has been exacerbated for around the same amount of time and led to mild agrophobia and severe GAD. I’ve been prescribed Duloxetine for the anxiety, and have also heard it can be beneficial for IBS suffers. However,

5 weeks after foot surgery
Well 5 weeks ago I had surgery on both feet. A toe fusion on one foot & a an amputation of the toe end on the other foot. It’s not been easy but I’m getting there. The fusion was going to be a tendon release but continuing to a fusion if the release didn’t work. That’s ok it’s what we agreed but it

oocyte activation
Evening all, hope you’re all well. We had our final planning consultation today for round 3, and we’ve decided to go ahead with oocyte activation following total fertilisation failure on our last icsi round. Has anyone got any success stories? Hopefully we’ll have more mature eggs/better quality

Valium RLS
Is anyone using Valium/diazepam or any other benzo to treat RLS? The Horizant that I’ve been using for the last year and a half isn’t working as well as it used to.

Nicotinamide riboside supplementation is not associated with altered methylation homeostasis in Parkinson`s disease.
