Thank you for your replies and concerns regarding the flu vaccine.
However I was querying if people with underactive thyroid/Hashimotos need to be more aware of taking it.

Vaccinations are often contentious issues and very difficult for the TUK administration volunteers to moderate. Personally, I would speak with your GP about any concerns you have.
As it is difficult for the admin team to moderate replies to your post, I will close to replies. Members can still contact you via private message.

As it is a contentious issue this post will also be closed to replies. The admin team are all volunteers for Thyroid UK and unfortunately cannot moderate posts about vaccinations.
I have the flu jab every year (despite being too young officially) as getting the flu is truly dreadful and it hits me hard. I have hashimoto’s, underactive thyroid etc and apart from feeling a bit off for a few hours I have never had any problems.
