It’s my first ICSI cycle and my first time using any kinda of forum so I’m looking for a little advice please?
We had 2 embryos transferred on the 6/11, 1 was an early blastocyst (too early to grade) and the other a compacting modular.
as you can see from the test below Day 8 gave us butterflies as I thought that was it but we’ve had all BFN since then. 😢 could that still have been trigger shot 15 days after?
I was wondering if anyone else had been in a similar situation? And successfully received a BFP towards the 11/12 day mark? My OFT is this Sunday 19/11 which would be day 13. I’ve also gone and ordered some HCG tests and a home blood test. Also no sign of AF 2days ago and she is regular as clockwork. And all my pregnancy signs (sore boobs etc) have gone. Just a few cramps.
I wish I hadn’t started testing now because I’m trying to be positive but it’s so disheartening.
Sorry for the long post, have no one to ask about this and I’m googling myself crazy 🤪 lol
Thank you in advance for any advice 🥰

Hard to do but best not to test too early - hard to do but please wait for OTD Take care of yourself eat well- rest when you can - take any meds you were given as directed When testing remember to use 1st pee of the day as this is the when it is more concentrated rather than during the day
Thank you Janet. I'm so upset with myself for not waiting as I'm putting myself through hell now. Still taking all my meds and trying to relax but my brain won't switch off. 😔. Thank you for your well wishes xx
Hey I’m so sorry to see a line and then have it disappear is so hard! Try to get a pink dye early response test if you can, the clear blue have given me false positives before, I dont know what trigger you had but most are gone by 10 days and max 14 from what I’ve seen xx
Ps don’t be mad at yourself for testing before ‘test date’ as it’s just a made up date by the clinic and they all seem to pick different ones and it’s your body, and your pee, so you can test whenever you like, this could still have happened on test day in my experience or if it does sadly turn out to be a chemical you would never have known that implantation did happen (which is quite an important step to know those conditions and timing are right). Thinking of you xx
Thank you Twiglet2. I've decided to stop testing now. I feel that it hasn't worked as I have zero symptoms (had super sore boobs on both previous pregnancies within the first few weeks). Still praying for a miracle but not hopeful. xxx
Hi, it’s really harsh seeing that line and then have it disappear. My first 2 transfers I bled before OTD so knew had failed. My 3rd BFN on test day. 4th I got a vv faint line 8DP5DT when I tested before OTD. I went for bloods at 9 days but by day 10 the line had gone so I was convinced it had been an evap line, been though it was a PDT. I was shocked when bloods came back 3 days later at 49. Gutted it was a chemical, BUT as Twiglet2 says at least it started to implant, which for me felt like a positive progression from 3 straight BFN.
Oh Doddlebug23 I'm so sorry to hear of the struggles you have been through. Wishing you all the luck for you. I've stopped testing and now praying for a miracle. Just have to wait until Sunday for OTD and then onto the next cycle I guess. xxxxx
