neuropathy flare after operation
I don't know the answers to your questions... but I have heard that some folks have these issues after cancer treatments. Hope you get some more informative answers from others on this site.
I had an operation. 15 lymph nodes in leg out for melanoma, surgeon says he got all the cancer and on immunotherapy for cancer. so the leg operation gave me a month or so of pn symptom, my anxiety was through the roof. I now have more neuropathy around operation site and uncomfortableness around 8 inch scar. thankfully haven't felt much difference in neuropathy. I told the cancer agency I wouldn't take anything that would ramp up neuropathy. After 12 years I can barely cope with pain of neuropathy. the immunotherapy causes far less side effect than chemo and won't give you neuropathy.
they used to and still do give you drugs that give you neuropathy(terrible, shame)so you have to ask. Many doctors want to keep you alive and are not so caring of the terrible pain you might be in for the rest of you life. with the stressors that Americans are under no wonder pills regimen out like candies. Slow down and live. Rich people pay your fare taxes, no excuses. then everyone could afford better health comes
