Hi everyone,I'm new here and looking to see if anyone else is having the same problem. I'm currently on Prostap injection and Hrt Tibolone. I'm extremely low in mood, I have no energy, I'm really tired where I could fall asleep at my desk at work but struggling to sleep at night. I just really can't

Dilated left atrium and appendage. CT full results.
I asked for my full CT angiogram report so I can show it to Dr Hunter before my consultation about mini maze. And unbeknownst to be it showed mild mitral valve prolapse and dilated left atrium and appendage. As well as coronary disease. I feel like I can’t get a win ! Another punch to the face so

HIP REPLACEMENT SURGERY
Hello, Am booked for a hip replacement operation on 1st February. I had 2 knee replacement operations in 2017 and 2018. Although a hip replacement is supposed to be somewhat less painful and easier to recover from, I am dreading it for the simple reasons I have severe rheumatoid arthritis - so stopping

Aortic Valve
After investigating it was found that my Aotica
valve
needed
replacement
. This was carried out Royal Brompton. The procedure went well but unfortunately I have been having racing heart rate which in medical terms is called atrial fibrillation.

How does the metastasized cancer in all of the cells react to surgery? I will need an aortic valve replacement and reallneed some
First of all, I wish you all a peaceful holiday, stable scans and good blood results in 2023. Shocking to me, I have a diseased aortic valve that needs replacing! On 9 January, I will be having another scan and will be meeting with a team of doctors and other medical personnel at Columbia Presbyterian

Menopause
I am 52 and going through the menopause and finding it difficult. I have been told by professionals that I can not have HRT as I have a family history of breast cancer and blood clots. I am just trying to deal with my symptoms with no help. I hate the mood swings, I suffer with depression and anxiety

First Cardioversion procedure in Feb 23
I had phone call this morning telling me I had been booked for a Cardioversion on 02 Feb 23 at Barts hospital to try an correct AF. This will be the first one that I have ever had and to say I am not scared is an understatement. I have had at least 3 ablations, plus two mitral valve replacements,

What could be causing tachycardia?
Hi lifesavers, Someone has asked if the tachycardia I have been getting lately may be caused by the 5mcg of Tiromel that I take in the morning. Also I was wondering if I should stop taking the levothyroxine altogether, & either just try to buy some low dose Tiromel or Liothyronine without the T4 in

Transdermal B complex patches - any experience?
Hi I've been looking for B vitamins and have had some suggestions - thank you! I've just come across patches as a way of delivering vits and minerals etc. Same idea as HRT. https://www.patchworksuk.com/product/patch-aid-b12-plus-30-patches/ I know nothing about them. Has anyone used patches and liked

cold feet and hands
Hi there, this might be a stupid question, but since I’ve been taking HRT I’ve been getting really frozen, cold 🥶 feet and hands, and can’t seem to get them to warm up, also when I’m relaxing or in bed a night, my legs won’t relax, I have to keep moving them, and it’s keeping me awake . Anyone else

hip replacement
How did you make the decision to have a replacement? I keep going between thinking that I need to have it as soon as possible and then I think no I will try everything else first. I can not walk more than 30 minutes without feeling pain (on a good day). I am on daily medication to help with the pain

time to commit to something
I’ve been popping in & out of this forum for ages but have never got involved. I am on the waiting list for a revision hip replacement & my right hip is now giving me a lot of bother as well. I feel that losing weight would help a lot but I have tried so many plans & after a short time I give up. I

I'm alive!!
The knee replacement went extremely well! My rìght knee (the one that was replaced) is actually stronger than the left knee and only 3 weeks after surgery! Hip, Hip, Hooray! My MS didn't flair up at all, unlike when I went septic back in August. Life is good and for the first time in a long time I
