At least now, with the
vaccination
programme well underway, the future is starting to look a little brighter isn’t it? Anyway, I am posting in particular because I have just done a Medichecks thyroid check, the first since last August.

What Covid vaccination Group are you in?
When I was making an appointment with GP I asked what
vaccination
group I was in. The surgery said group 8, I had assumed I would be in group 6. The reasoning was that I am not on any medication at the moment. I have been quite ill with a flare up recently and am pushing for something?

Pfizer Vaccinated with APS/Gene Mutations & Pulmonary Embolisms
Hello, I have followed this website for years and it has very beneficial information. I have 2 copies of MTHFR gene mutation. I was also diagnosed with APS in 2013 after a DVT in my right leg, a pulmonary embolism in each lung, and my heart was enlarged. Initially, I was put on Warfarin but my INR fluctuated

Yesterday I got the Covid-19
vaccination
and was told I wouldn't be completely protected because of the Methotrexate. This has worried me - I want full protections. I was thinking of missing 2 weeks dose because of this but I'm afraid to as I haven't been on it very long.

Interval between first and second dose of AZ
Anybody knows the interval between the first and second dose? Is it between 8 - 12 weeks. Longer gap at 12 weeks is better. Due to a mess up by NHS website I had to reschedule my appt through my gp at 10 weeks? You would believe NHS cancelled my appointment and there are no records of me being vaccinated

Covid Webinar
Anyway I have been using the COVID ZOE app since my
vaccination
a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday they sent the message below about a webinar on 3rd March specifically addressing our concerns about how well the
vaccination
might protect people like us.

BNT162b2 mRNA Covid-19 Vaccine in a Nationwide Mass Vaccination Setting
From my reading of this study, if you have 2 doses of Pfizer vaccine you don't died of covid-19 after 32 days. https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2101765? and explained here https://youtu.be/sNCrzOl2PfA But as Dr. Campbell says they can't say if its the result of the 1st shot or both

Accepted the invitation, chose my date and then low and behold they wanted credit card details to cover admin booking fee!!! Closed that down pretty sharpish I can tell you. I'm sure you

What Immunocompromised People Should Know About the CDC Recommendations for Fully Vaccinated People
The timing of the
vaccination
with respect to individual treatments should be discussed with your rheumatology health care provider. (The American College of Rheumatology released clinical guidance on how to time your medication with the vaccine.)

Rheumatoid arthritis, pregnancy and the covid vaccination
Hi, thanks everyone for responding to my earlier question about rheumatoid and the covid
vaccination
. I just wanted to know if there is anyone who is planning for pregnancy and are concerned about taking the covid vaccine.

Covid19 vaccines and prostate cancer —amended
My point about Covid19
vaccination
during chemo, is that it may provide a false sense of security. As vaccines do not work well while a person is on drugs that impair immune function.
