Hi I am new on here. I have had PMR for just over a year and been up and down with the pred as Rheumatologist altered things around and caused relapse which meant going up again. Thanks to your advice on here, and my own research I have devised my own pred reduction plan and gradual reduction which I am hoping to follow through this time. I really do appreciate the help adice and information on here it has been a great help..

Anyway I have been using the COVID ZOE app since my vaccination a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday they sent the message below about a webinar on 3rd March specifically addressing our concerns about how well the vaccination might protect people like us. If you sign up for the ZOE APP you may well get an invite. Or you may be able to access the webinar afterwards on Utube. See right to the bottom.

I'd like to invite you to the latest in our series of webinars discussing COVID vaccines.

COVID Vaccines and the immune system

Wednesday 3rd March

4pm GMT / 11am ET

I'll be joined by Prof. Ellie Barnes, Professor of Hepatology and Immunology at University of Oxford and Dr Anna Goodman, Infectious Diseases Consultant at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital London.

We’ll explore the latest ZOE data from over 500,000 logged vaccines to understand how they are working in the real world. We’ll cut the data to look at efficacy and after-effects in the different vaccines and different groups. We'll unpack what this means for people with compromised immune systems, including those on immunosuppressive drugs.

As always, we’ll be taking questions so please submit any questions you might have in advance via this link and we will do our best to address it.
