Confused about 4th Covid vaccination
Hello everyone I’ve had an email and a letter about the 3rd vaccine (which I’ve had) and now about the 4th vaccine. It says that “ I may have a medical condition or be receiving treatment that could significantly weaken my immune system” and may now need a 4th booster dose. I’m only on 4mg pred but have

Can't get on top of this flare
I didn't use the Actemra on 4th Feb as I had my 4th Covid
vaccination
that day (I've had experience of my neutrophils dipping dramatically after vaccinations and Actemra might make the recovery slower). A week later I took the Actemra again and reduced pred to 1.5mg, on 10th Feb.

Finally got “it” !
I have been on prednisone for 5 years and I’m currently taking 8 mg. I have been very cautious since COVID hit and my wife and I managed to avoid getting sick. Well, at least up until 2 days ago. We both felt like we were coming down with a cold so we decided to perform a home test. Much to our surprise

Two years of caution and now new opportunities. Opinions sought
Three weeks ago I got covid after two years of precautions. Still not sure how I caught it, but the NHS did work well for me and I received a sotrovimab infusion within the first three days. Because I also have heart problems they couldn't give me paxlovid. My recovery was rapid, symptoms eased quickly

My GCA Story
Hi everyone. Last June I became a member of the GCA club, though not by choice. I wanted to share my story in case others experience somethig similar. It began like a common virus; sore throat, runny nose, mild fever of 100.5. I thought it might be covid, so got tested and was negative. I had been

Lifesaving COVID drugs are sitting unused on pharmacy shelves, HHS data shows
- "I had a situation last week where a young person who ... got COVID called their physician for Paxlovid and was denied," says Tien: The patient had a risk factor for COVID, but their doctor did not think they qualified for the drug, based on age and
vaccination
status.

4th vaccination?
I have had an appointment sent to me for a 4th
vaccination
. I have already had the booster in October. I am taking Tacrolimus and steroids for seronegative inflammatory arthritis. Just wondered if anyone else has heard about their 4th injection? I live in North Wales.

New and better antibody test results? Should I celebrate?
After my second
vaccination
last year I did a Roche Anti-SARS-CoV-2 Total Antibody Test and it registered 12 U/mL. The accompanying literature indicates that a reading of less than 0.8 U/mL means negative for antibodies. So something good in my test.

Research questions
Hi, I have been trying to research my illness (PPP) to make sense of it and have come up with a few questions I wonder if others could comment on. 1. Regarding hormones, do you think the sex of the babies has an effect on the illness. Do female babies provoke a higher risk of the illness in mothers?

4th Vaccination
I went to the local walk in centre for my 4th jab today armed with every bit of paperwork I could think of just in case there was any doubt I should have it. I told them why I was there and was amazed that they didn’t even ask why I needed it and didn’t ask for any proof! In and out in 5 minutes 😃

HRT postmenopause anyone?
Morning Peeps 🙂 It's a beautiful, sunny day out there today! 😎 It always makes me feel so much happier when the sun's out 🌞 I wanted to ask you lovely lot about about HRT... I am postmenopausal (approximately 6 years since my last period) and doing OK in many ways, at the moment - so felt it was

Covid And RLS
Someone posted recently about whether Covid made RLS worse and I replied that in my case it hadn't. However, I caught Covid for the second time within 3 weeks on 21 March and was extremely ill. Recent evidence is showing that the Omicron variant is mutating rapidly & people are catching it for the second
