Fibroscan norm?
After some very stressful weeks/ months my liver scan was normal. I had a ama at 90, so they had started me on urso too early. Does the fibroscan mean I do not have pbc? Do i take urso? What other causes raise ama?

Generic URSO & Effectiveness
This is a repost from a PBC patient on the Yahoo forum. It got me thinking about different brands of URSO and their effectiveness. I'm interested in any feedback because I've been on a "generic" URSO for 8 months with no change. My alk-phos fluctuates but has never normalized. Thanks, Stella I was

Take 1 or 2
Hi everyone, for some reason I believe I misunderstood how to take my medication. I thought by starting ocaliva I could stop Urso? From what I've read I am supposed to take both. Looking for help here. Also I feel I've gained weight but no other problems.

WEIGHT GAIN
I have been successfully losing weight all year... since being put on URSO acid I seem both unable to lose weight and unable to stay on any sort of diet plan. Its like I am permanently hungry and boredom eat like crazy. Does anyone else on URSO have this or should I stop blaming the URSO and step away

Dragging my feet on starting ocaliva
I was diagnosed in March 2017 (caught by a random blood test during my annual checkup, I’m 49). While i showed initial improvement on Urso, it’s plateau’ed. I feel great, my fibroscan said that my liver was in perfect shape (4.4), my biopsy showed some early damage to my bile ducts consistent with PBC

Akaline phosfates almost normal
I'm soooo happy. Just for today my alt is 117. And the rest are within normal range Most of you know I was diagnosed stage one 22 years ago by accident when the enzymes where 600 and was immediately given a liver biopsy and urso forte Stage one for 22 years and very compliant. I guess I am lucky but

Urso-responsive cholestasis?
Hello! I've been poked and prodded for 6 years. Long story short, I've had every test available (in two different cities) and my GI Dr. told me that because I tested negative for AMA, that he is very hesitant to call it PBC. So he labeled it urso-responsive cholestasis BECAUSE, my enzymes are normal

Ppi and urso
Hi all I am sure it has been asked before but ny acid indigestion has got worse. I have had pbc for about 5 years and take 1000 mg ursofalk capsules daily. Is it okay to take 20 mg pantoprazole daily and if so, when is best time to take it.

Too many URSO?
Not sure if I have taken my URSO twice is this dangerous. I may have taken them with and after a meal.

65 years old. I was diagnosed early stage (synthomless) in 2003. I am taking Urso 500. 3 pills a day wich I find a walmart drugstore ($114 for 90 pills) with a GoodRx card my Dr gave me. My liver numbers are OK, but reading you guys, I realized I need to learn from your experience. I am overweight and

Pregnant and looking for a friend
37 years old and I'm 23 weeks preggo and have new onset prurititus that is making my life hell. It starts at night and hits my hands and feet hard but also other places. My bile salts are elevated to 19 so the doc is starting me on Urso. There is a chance I have ICP, but either way they may need to induce
