Hi all

I am sure it has been asked before but ny acid indigestion has got worse. I have had pbc for about 5 years and take 1000 mg ursofalk capsules daily. Is it okay to take 20 mg pantoprazole daily and if so, when is best time to take it.

I take it in the morning and no problems. I can take urso without food though so usually take them then have something to eat about an half hour later. But might be worth checking with your doctor first.

My reflux has been worst these days as well. one a day pantoprazole is not working so I started taking 2 which has made a huge difference right now.. I used to take zegred over the counter before my dr prescribe panta which worked better for me. so on my next visit I will tell my dr that I want to continue zegred not panta !

Only problem is if you take anti acid with aluminum..I take my anti acid at least an hour early then taking urso.. due to dryness off our gi system we have to have anti acid to avoid erosion in gi track so we don’t have alternate remedies even healthy diet won’t help

I've been taking urso and lansoprazole for years now.

I find take the ppi first thing in the morning. Then I take first two urso (500mg) about 1 hour later ish.... I try to make sure I have a snack or something when taking the urso.

I take my second 500mg of urso in the evening around dinner time.

Hope this helps.

😁
