I have been successfully losing weight all year... since being put on URSO acid I seem both unable to lose weight and unable to stay on any sort of diet plan. Its like I am permanently hungry and boredom eat like crazy. Does anyone else on URSO have this or should I stop blaming the URSO and step away from the fridge, biscuits, cupboards etc ha ha

WEIGHT GAIN
Hi zoesteve
I have been taking URSO since 2006. I put on weight but last year decided to tackle my ever increasing size. Over a long period of about 14-15 months I have lost 15 kilos but I am stuck. I cut down the carbs, don't eat chocolate or have fizzy drinks but I am still hovering over the 74 kilos. I walk when I can and when I can't I use a static bike but as an older person I am finding it difficult to shift those extra kilos that need to go.
I wish you all the best at "stepping away from the fridge"
I gained weight taking urso, i found the size of my meals seemed smaller but i eat as suggested, smaller more frequent meals.
It was/is the snacking in between meals that get me, it was like I was needing to eat constantly not because of hunger but for energy. Before urso I was always about 66kg and then went up to 77kg albeit slowly over a period of time.
After a year Iam finally down to 66.5kg, I suffer fatigue and thought exercise was out of the question but last year I got an exercise bike I could only do 5min each time to start with but that increased over time now I do half an hour 3 days a week and daily walk of about a mile.
I counted calories as well , so still had snacks by saving some of the calorie allowance each day and kept them low calorie. I allowed myself a square of dark chocolate to go from chocoholic to none , was a step to far and I felt deprived so needed to counteract that.
Good work.
Hi I feel the exact same way. I had got myself down to 9 and 1/2 stone buy have in a year put on a a stone or few and I even kept a food diary and I'm eating less moving more and still the weight seems to want to creep up. My partner has got me a rowing machine for when we move house as that was the main piece of equipment I used when I was losing weight so hoping o can shift some before Christmas
Take care xx
