Akaline phosfates almost normal

I'm soooo happy. Just for today my alt is 117. And the rest are within normal range

Most of you know I was diagnosed stage one 22 years ago by accident when the enzymes where 600 and was immediately given a liver biopsy and urso forte

Stage one for 22 years and very compliant. I guess I am lucky but it's a precarious situation so I cannot be complacent

I will remain on this site as many are scared with a diagnosis so unfamiliar to the medical profession

finding the ALT and ALP readings really confusing many on the PBC foundation seem to have raised readings mine are slightly raised and my consultant seems concerned. Well done though on your results hope they remain low, they seem to yo-yo for no reason

Thank you for sharing! 😊

This is wonderful to know! I am happy for you. My doctor, Hepatologist told me if you have PBC, as long as Alk Phos is under 200...that is okay.

That’s encouraging about high enzyme level being ok. My hepatologist told me if enzymes are elevated, risk of biliary tube damage,

Lifestyle?

What do you do to keep enzymes low and symptom free beyond Ursodyoxycholine?

My liver dr is liver nutritionist as well he hasn’t put me in any diet restriction but due to my reactive hypoglycemia I have to limit carbs, sugar and caffeine like foods which I hVe done since 4 months and lost 10lb😔...I still drink beer and now thinking about switching to wine 🤔

Today, I visited my endocrinologist and we talked about my high abnormal b12, my protein diet and bloating problem after eating bbq and fat on the stool.

In conclusion she prescribe bile tablet for fat digest does any one take bile table ?

Thank you
