4dp5dt and have cold/flu
so I’m just being majorly paranoid and looking for reassurance as yesterday I started developing a cold that seems more like the flu now. Now just overthinking things being like it definitely won’t work now 😳 anyone else managed to get a positive despite this happening or got any stories of reassurance

Cribiform Prostate Cancer
I have some findings of cribiform cancer in my cancer biopsy. I will start treatment with ADT this mnonth and SBRT in April, 2024. Cribiform cancer in the literature is associated with significantly worse outcomes. Does anyone have experience with this?

Thank you everybody
Thank you everybody for bearing with me as I poured out my frustrations and anxieties with my current treatment plan over my last several posts, and for all your comments and advice. I called my MO's office this morning and left a voice mail detailing my declining status and the fact that I was done

Hi I am currently on a cycle which involves two sessions at two weeks apart called TETP. So I am having etoposide and paclitaxel then cisplatin and paclitaxel two weeks later. Radiation Sessions
I am considering proton therapy radiation for my DICS cancer found in the left breast. Six months ago, I had a dissection B - TAVAR for a torn aorta. I am very concerned about the radiation penetrating to heart and lungs. The main concern is if proton therapy radiation is so advanced, why is the standard

Olaparib hasn’t worked for me . Anyone had this happen and had success with another PARP?
Hi everyone, I’m back of Chemo for 3rd line, this time with Carbo and Caelyx. This is just a year after 1st recurrence, Chemo reduced cancer to nearly NED, 7 months of Olaparib and then CT scan showed new tumour on spleen. CA125 36. Oncologist mentioned later trying another PARP possibly Rucaparib

ATM gene mutation
I just received results from genetic testing that I have a ATM gene mutation. I am currently not on any meds and my last PSMA pet scan was negation. I am scheduled for a follow up PSA test mid march based on rising PSA after 5 years undetectable. Based on the ATM finding will this change any future therapy

Not about PCa but interesting: GLP-1 Receptor Agonists help with colorectal cancer
"A research letter recently published in JAMA Oncology has provided some promising insights into the potential of Glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RAs) in lowering the risk of colorectal cancer (CRC) among patients with type 2 diabetes. The study involved a national retrospective analysis

Which Treatment for These Biopsy Results?
I now have my biopsy results Gleason 3 + 4 ie 90% of 3 and 10% of 4 Grade 2 The consultant said it was Intermediate but at one point used the term Low intermediate. Is this latter term valid given the stats? T2a NO MO - but I am puzzled about this because although it was mostly all on the left side

psoas Muscle Tumors
my OVCA metastasized to my Psoas muscle 6 years after preliminary OVCA diagnosis. Various chemo and immunotherapy are helping keep it contained. Has anyone had surgery for removal of a psoas tumor? I’d love to hear from you. Thank you.

What is the next step
I have one more Immunotherapy for my bladder cancer, so far all scan have shown no metastasis. Now I need to focus on my PC after more than a year of ignoring it. My PSA has been fluctuating and is now 0.65, doubling time is 16 months, I have not had ADT yet and my MO wants to just wait and watch. What
