Update on Nuclear Scan and where I am at now.
First: thank you all for the kind support I have received since - Much appreciated. To the Nuclear Scan ordered by my GP for suspect spread from bladder cancer to the bones. I got a call from my GP surgery today telling me Dr wanted to let me know, NO bone cancer found. Thant's one worry gone.

Cold and MTX
Hello everyone I've had a cold, bunged up nose, sore throat and slight chesty cough since Tuesday. I'm scheduled to take my weekly MTX on Sunday. Should I take it? I seem to remember reading that I could safely miss a dose and it was actually advised that you should temporary stop the medication if unwell

Night time nausea
I am a little confused what is going on with my husband. He's got ARBD, acute kidney disease and ARLD. He has started being very sick late at night and this morning I noticed traces of blood in his sick bowl. He says he's not in any pain, but I am concerned as this is a new symptom. He refused to contact

Effect of a bad cold?
I was comfortably working my way down via DSNS from 8.5 to 8 when I caught a nasty cold (negative for covid). The morning pain in my shoulders became very unpleasant, though not to the level of what I would call a flare, which I have experienced before. The pain subsided but never really left all day

Switching Drs
In July, I was notified by my oncology clinic that my oncologist was on an emergency leave of absence with his return undetermined. š¢ I was absolutely devastated, not only because there was no information that could be given on his status, but also for the void it left not knowing where to proceed

Prostate Cancer (stage IV) identified in January and Small Cell Carcinoma (Neuro endocrine) in liver in August. Any suggestions?
In January, my dad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer (Acinar Adenocarcinoma Prostate) stage 4, with PSA of 687. PCa had reached bones but not other major organs. He was put on Abiraterone and Degarelix. In August, PSA test showed that PSA had dropped to 2.7 and there was decrease in size and PSMA avidity

Advice please
Hi there, my mum was diagnosed with HGSOC stage 4 in October 21. She had debulking surgery followed by 6 rounds of carbo/taxol. She recovered well and continued with Avastin infusions every 3 weeks until May this year when her CA125 started to gradually rise. Her CT scan at this time showed NED and they

Hey guys. Glad to find this group. 81 years old- Diagnosed 7 years ago with a Gleason 9 The Onc's finally scared me into having a radical but I refused to let them take my nerves. They told me I would be gone in 5 yrs. In retrospect wish I hadn't had the radical. Info and options were very hard to come
