Nose sprays for colds etc

I feel as if a have a cold brewing. Some time ago there were posts of a spray used in nose. Flu Guard ? I am not sure. I think a Vick one too. Could anyone advise please. Wish to nip in the bud. Thank you.

I find coldzyme the best for shortening Cold which has already started. It attacks the dna in the virus. You put it at the back of your mouth. I find that the sprays make my nose sore and are not always effective. Nasal Guard cold and flu blocker is excellent to guard against viruses when out and about. Just a bit around nostrils and mouth.

Vicks first defence is very good as long as you take it when you first get the signs and continue to use it for a few days, it doesn't work if you already have a full blown cold. It burns a bit,which is normal, so point it towards the side of the nostril and don't sniff too hard when you squirt it.

I also drink effervescent vitamin c 1000mg 2 or 3 times a day, it seems to really get rid of a cold quickly and prevents it turning anything worse.

I should have included that I only drink that much when poorly. Twice a day is usually enough and I take once a day if an iffy sore throat or sniffles rear their ugly heads.

Corvonia Throat Spray (antiseptic) is also my ho go-to to kill the bugs before they descend to airways.

I use a nasal rinse.Neilmed nasal rinse bottle.

Use their sachet or salt. Get the temperature of the water right otherwise it's an unpleasant experience. I also gargle with salt every hour with warm salt water.

I also gargle twice a day with a ,50/50 solution of 3% hydrogen peroxide and previously boiled water.

i think it was Cold Zym that was recommended - i bought some from Amazon - but not used it yet. It looks like a few different makes on the market.

i use boots nasal defence spray and covonia oromucosal spray when i feel i might be getting a cold or sore throat.i also gargle mornings and evenings

I take Echinacea tablets if I feel a cold coming on.They can alleviate symptoms as well
