Jak2/tet2 mutation
Hello this is Ben from VA! I was diagnosed with MPN last year and use Besremi every 2 weeks. I have jak2/tet2 mutations which makes me feel confused and scared since the majority of PVs only have jak2(or other so-called driver mutations). I read a lot online and it seems tet2 is not the worst thing

PSA Ultrasensitive 0.015 six months after prostatectomy
3 month PSA was <0.1, but that was not ultra sensitive. How worried should I be? Next steps? Urologist wants to see what the 9-month PSA test looks like, and to get a second Decipher genetic test. (I had one prior to surgery.) Pathology from surgery showed margins were positive, but Gleason score

More Waiting
Me with a urological oncologist yesterday. He asked questions and when I told him that. My mother had breast cancer at 36 he said that he wanted germline testing and Decipher done on biopsy cores before moving further. In his opinion is BRCA is present, removal is the only option. Otherwise radiation

Breast pain on prednisolone
This might be a bit of a strange one, but have you experienced twinges in the breast on pred? I get these quite sharp twinges every now and again and I wondered if it might be the pred? A very quick google suggests it might be. I mentioned it to the radiographer last week when I had a routine mammogram

Immunotherapies for MBC?
When I search for “immunotherapy” on this site I mostly see posts related to other types of cancers, but not MBC. I believe there are a few immunotherapies approved for MBC and there are several in clinical trials, but unless I’m missing it they don’t seem to get much discussion on this board. Immunotherapies

Final diagnosis uncertain - either cured or stage 4
Hello all, I hope you are as well as you can be. I am wondering if anyone has ever been in my situation. This is quite long - sorry. I have metastatic breast cancer in my bones (9 years) which have been stable for quite a few years. Routine CT picked up lung nodule - PET confirmed most likely lung

Medically induced zombie looking for help!
Is anyone else on Pregabalin and if so, how do you cope with 'zombiefying' side effects? I spend most of my working day on a computer and sometimes I feel like I can barely keep my eyes open. I'm also on Celecoxib and Topiramate.

Trying To Hold Onto Hope
Hi all, I last wrote on here back in the fall because my dad was deteriorating quickly after ending 2nd round of chemo and his PSA went to the 300s (see my bio for his medical history). He was a candidate for Pluvicto, and was also put on Zytgea and a steroid before starting treatment which helped

Mom doing great with Faslodex with trial med
Happy Friday everyone! My Mom had her second Faslodex injections yesterday and has almost no soreness at site. Yay! She is also very energetic and feels well. She’s thinks maybe the treatment is making her even more energetic than usual (she’s very active and a young 77yrs) lol 😆 She’s involved

Metastatic breast cancer
I have been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer but right now my scans are NED. I have taken 51 doses of hormone related drugs. I also have osteoporos which is related to the cancer. I would like to know if it is safe to take collagen while I am on Ibrance and Letrozole .

Kennel cough vaccine dilemma
My wife recently took my dog to the vets for his annual booster and kennel cough vaccine. As I am immunocompromised I am aware that there is a very small risk to myself as the kennel cough vaccine is live. I also understood (maybe incorrectly) that if my dog did not have the vaccine and were to subsequently
